Sharing my experience with Dr Pranjal Mittal, Thane West.... I, Vignesh Vishwanath, aged 37, had been facing a perennial problem on both my feet. It appeared like a fungal infection between the fourth and fifth toes and symptom was extreme pain occasionally. I do not even remember as to when I started getting this problem. It's been years together. Each time the intensity of the pain increased, I used to see a doctor, mostly general practitioners. They treated assuming it to be a fungal infection. And coincidentally, the pain used to reduce every time after the treatment. However, I saw no reduction in the infection. The pain used to go away for a while and return after a couple of days. Since the intensity of pain those days otherwise was less and due to lack of time, I used to often ignore. Earlier this year however, the pain grew manifold. I started finding it difficult to walk. I thought not to visit a GP this time as I never saw improvements, just the symptoms used to disappear each time. No root cause analyses were being done. Hence, I instead thought of seeing a dermatologist. I was just moving around in my locality looking for a dermatologist and I found Dr. Pranjal's clinic. I walked in and met Dr. Pranjal. I informed the problems I was facing. Even she initially thought it was a fungal infection and started her treatment, but in a different manner. I however hardly saw any improvement. Since I was working from home due to the lockdown, I again ignored. However, after a couple of months, the pain increased. I was finding it difficult walking at home too. I again visited the clinic. This time Dr Pranjal felt it wasn't a fungal infection since the symptoms weren't matching. She identified it to be a soft corn and began her treatment for it. It worked and I started noticing remarkable improvement within days. It is now 90% recovered, absolutely no pain. Healing is in progress and I expect complete recovery in the next couple of days. I did personally thank Dr Pranjal at her clinic for her right line of treatment. Nevertheless, I thought it was essential to write down my experience so that people know about it. Moreover, about Dr Pranjal - She is polite, transparent but still handles situations very professionally. The best part I liked about her was that she accepted that her initial line of treatment was not correct. We hardly find people accepting mistakes these days. An 18 year (perhaps even more) agony sorted out within days. Thanks Dr Pranjal! And all the best to you!
