I have had a minimalist approach to visiting doctors - I trust very few. Had an injury during a Yoga session during lockdown, which aggravated and that's when Ayurveda happened to me. Visited Dr. Moghe's on my wife's recommendation, who is also suffering from a chronic nervous ailment. I went with zero expectations and both of us started our respective treatments. There were difficult dietary recommendations in the beginning, coupled with medications. There was not much change in the first few weeks and one fine day, I realised my pain had vanished... Just like that. It's been a year and I'm more or less cured. The pain comes up once in a while but it's never as bad as before and disappears after a day or two. A lot of it is related to taking medication on time and following the right diet I guess. My wife's treatment is still in progress and will take some more time but I'm thankful to Dr. Moghe for helping me with my ailment. Dr. Moghe knows her subject well, asks the right questions to understand patient background and concerns and offers a safe and systemic, holistic approach to treatments and symptomatic. She's approachable, has a calm attitude and most importantly, 'listens' to her patients, a virtue rarely seen in the medical profession, especially modern medicine. This is one reason I chose Ayurveda over modern medicine/ allopathy, this is one reason I chose Dr. Vishakha Moghe. You just feel comfortable around her. What I have also observed is that she considers herself as a continuous learner and spends a lot of time reading and researching. My experience at Dr. Moghe's has been extraordinary! I visited her for a wellness experience and was recommended the full body massage and Shirodhara. Doctor Vishakha has been a blessing for me and my wife. The clinic is centrally located.
