Dr Khatav's Mother's And Child Hospital - Hospital in Mumbai - Mumbai Suburban, India

The hospital is highly overpriced to the service been provided. The waiting time is also very high, there is a lack of time management. One more thing I noticed is the fees structure is designed based on age of the child, which I have never experienced anywhere else. Also some of the medecine recommended by the Dr. are with monopoly which you will find in there own medical only. Totally disappointed.

you might expect least co-operative and inhospitable staff there. No proper time keeping, they allow after patient evn your child severely ill.

I would liked to share my real personal Incident which was happened with me in 2012. So that other should not fall a pray for such kind of evil doctor. Dr. Vinayak khatav.His and there entire team deserve for the zero star.They doesn't have an adequate of knowledge and lack of communication skill with patients.they only use to suck a more and more money and threats to the patient for the operations.this is my own personal experience when i was admitted to this clinic in 2012 my age was that time 15 year old when i received a severe pain near my abdomen then there one of the lady staff has asked to my father whether your son had a mediclaim or not,My father told her yes.Then that staff has asked the amount of mediclaim then my father told her the respected amount .Then after certain hour Dr Vinayak came for the night shift and reviewed my CT scan report, the path lab for CT scan report was referred by the Dr Vasant khatav (Father of Dr Vinayak khatav) came to the morning shift. After review of my CT Scan by Dr Vinayak Khatav he begins to starting threat to my mother and father to do the operation of appendix immediately at the midnight of 12:00 a.m. and telling my father so loudly to go out and bring O+ blood group blood to start the operation and threatening if the operation is not been done then liver will going to burst it out by shouting at loudly so that we can quickly go for operation and the nursing staff are also behaving very arrogantly and there staff are also coming again and again telling to go for operation. My mother and father has got doubt about there intention and for the second opinion they had shifted me to the Bombay hospital and doctor again done My X-ray, CT Scan,Blood and urine report, and the doctor from Bombay hospital had suggested that there is no requirement for such operation every report is normal .please be aware from such kind of evil doctors.i don't know whether this good reviews which are shown in the google are given by their own staff,family member and freinds but myself the personal experience of their service was horrible.

Too expensive.....They took 1800 for my child first visit with very long waiting time. Too much expensive..I never paid that much consultation fees in Jaslok and Lilavati like hospital also. My wife was not aware of fess otherwise I won't recommend to go there. recently,My wife went there for skin rashes got normal consultation and medicine similar to other pedreatic doctor not extraordinary. Another experience,Last year I called clinic at night around 2 am for my child food infection and vomiting so receptionist over call old that doctor will not comes befor 10am so come at 10am Very bad response for critical situation not even ready to look for patient. Same time I went to Chiranjeev Hospital at Ashokvan and they treated my child very well.

Excellent doctor,and good approach...i really thankful to doctors approach to my kid and his treatment...

Dr.khatav is the best pediatrician I have ever met...but the hospitality given by the staff is the worst ....its humble request to all to take into consideration for efficient staff and nurses

There is no special facility available at the opd counter in this hospital. people who go there and take appointment, their number does not come and those who book from sitting at home keep coming, even after sitting for 3 hours, and get the number of people who come after me. but I asked then said after this your not good thing after that either keep full online booking or else after coming to place do. this attitude of staff sitting in OPD is not good. Very bad experience from me.
