Went here for a live show by Pankaj Udhas. The seating, sound and atmosphere was good. One bad experience for me was the way in which they were letting people inside the auditorium. You will need to wait outside and till the doors (grills) are open just wide enough for just two people to go in. Due to the rush even the supposedly ticket check too doesn't happen the way it should. This needs to be managed a little better.
The main route makes it easy to identify and see the Dr. Kashinath Ghanrkar Auditorium. While this auditorium is among the nicest in the community, there are several issues that should have been addressed, such as broken seats and toliets need for more frequent cleaning hygiene should be maintained.
It's the best auditorium in thane which comes under the thane municipal corporation. It's has classy ambience, indoor arrangements. Best stage Ane seating arrangement as well. It's well air conditioned nd the washrooms are also clean nd hygienic. The ground work people are extremely cooperative, super knowledgeable nd good at their work. The management committee is also super cooperative. Various dramas, live shows nd concerts are held here for which bookings nd tickets are available both online nd offline. The entire marathi film industry is connected to this auditorium.
Nice place for all theatre and music lovers.... Everything is good except seats in the hall. Seats are not at all comfortable. If you are paying for tickets in the range of Rs. 300 to Rs. 500, at least you expect seats to be comfortable.
I experienced this place with Pankaj Udhas live music show. I must admit, it's well designed Theatre/Auditorium in Thane for such occasions. It has a mini theatre as well. There is paid snacks served with softdrinks or tea. It was a good experience overall.
One of the best Natyagruha I came across. It has been well maintained and is spacious. It houses a great theater and centrally cooled. It has its own parking space. It has various marathi shows and one has to keep tap of it. The chairs are comfortable and sound system is really good. Tickets are also available on Book my show.
