Ambedkar Memorial Park, formally known as Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal, is a public park and memorial in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The memorial is dedicated to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the 20th century Indian polymath and the first law minister of India.

One of the best places I have been, it's huge with eye catching architectural work. The place is so big that you need ample amount to time to walk around and go every corner. It's is also one of the top attentions here in Lucknow. You will absolutely love the place and you can click lots of amazing photos too. You have to pay 15 rupees as entry charges.

It is located near to the railway station. It is very nice place for photos. Prefer to visit it at the evening for the lights which gives it awesome view. My experience at here was nice.

The park also honors the lives and memories of Jyotirao Phule, Narayana Guru, Birsa Munda, Shahuji Maharaj, and Kanshi Ram. The park also has 124 monumental elephants.[2] The memorial was constructed by Mayawati, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, during her administration when she led the Bahujan Samaj Party. The foundation stone of the memorial was first laid in 1995. Earlier, the park was named Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Udyan. In 2002, it was renamed the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial and development work continued until 2002-03. In 2007, the park underwent further renovation and development. It was initially opened to the public on 14 April 2008 by Chief Minister Mayawati. The entire memorial is built using red sandstone brought from Rajasthan. It is situated in the posh locality of Gomti Nagar, the largest planned residential colony in India. Cost of the memorial is estimated at 7 billion rupees.[3] Its name was changed from Ambedkar Park to Bhimrao Ambedkar memorial in May 2012.

It was quite good and a relaxing place, where you can easily spent 1 hour hassle free. The entrance of the Ambedkar Park is long queue of Elephant's Statues. The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar statue is also there. After that a grand view of stairs and blue reflecting tiles is superb. Plant and flower is also soothing. Just like an experience of Destination wedding venue.
