Wrost experience. Nurse and other stuff behavior is very bad. Doctors are very careful for every patient. Security and civic volunteer behavior r very bad, they r not co operate with patient parties and use slang languages. Amenities and other facilities like bed,cleanness r very very bad. They even not provide any pillow for patient guardian. There is no place for night stay. Although doctor request to stay outside of hospital if required they announce via microphone, no phone call service they provides. Pay and use toilet available. No mobile charging facilities inside hospital. Car parking not allowed inside hospital during day time.

Dr. B C Roy Post Graduate Institute of Paediatric Sciences is a pioneering Indian institute for research and training in paediatric sciences in Kolkata. It is a very good hospital and medical facilities for children up to 12 years 24 hours service. "Emergency, SNCU, NICU, PICU, HDU, Outdoor" department is available in this hospital. This hospital is locally known as "Shishu Hospital".

My child have a seizure in month of may due to fever so my paedriatic doctor who is seeing my child from birth due to lack of medical support in duttapukur area i take my child to B. C Roy hospital. My child was shown in emergency department and was better. But, i want to tell everyone the ward department when they take admission total staffs behaviour and even doctors don't pay visit there. My child have same medical emergency and was admitted as i have faith gained in 1st time shown. But when i have to stay for my son for 2 days i have lot of arguments with them. No system at all. The guards there are more ruthless and very very bad behaviours will be faced there from them. I have seen SSKM, BANGUR, NRS are far far better from them. I suggest to all don't take your child there. As there treatment procedures are very poor. If you take your child for any problem they won't touch your child they will only listen the symptoms from patients family and on basis of that they give suggestion I also had faith on B. C Roy from the 1 st time experience. But when you go inside then you can face the reality. Very very very ill treatment by the NURSING STAFFS. They will treat you like inhuman. Don't visit this hospital. Rather than pay visit to R. G KAR or SSKM. My child was there for 2 days they have done no treatment at all. I took my child from there by signing bond and shown my child in ICH ( INSTITUTE OF CHILD HEALTH).

One of the best government hospital in West Bengal, this hospital is specialised to treat illness in children (and hence the local name shishu haaspaataal). You can always consider this hospital for treatment as a backup, service is good but slow... This place is also a COVID-19 vaccination centre...

My son has been admitted to hospital & treatment has done excellent from doctors but I bye self & others parents mostly face the problems that we cant meet our wives during meeting time 4 to 6 pm because we are not allowed to enter into the ward room so our time spent false & we get less time to talk/discuss/get children health/treatment message with our wive So, children parents (father/relative/friends etc) seeking this problem too much So we request from admin to keep one staff male/female in front of ward as parents can inform him/her to call their wives & discuss the patient situation. Hope my suggestion would be acceptable in future Doctors & other working facilities are excellent/brilliant This is the best Govt hospital in our state & in our country

Best government pediatric hospital. Although there is some issues going on this days regarding their services but in my opinion their service are good and helpful. Good doctors are available here with NICU and PICU facilities.well maintained.24 hrs CT SCAN facilities are also available. A fair price medicine shop is also there.

This is one of the best Government Child Hospital in kolkata. Indoor facility of this hospital is good and doctors give regular visit. Nurses and helping people is always available here. Hospital is clean and environment is quite hospitable. Admitted child's parents or gurdian can visite in visiting hours. Outdoor facility it really good and you will get low cost medicine store here in the hospital premesis. Patient's name announcement is done loudly by microphone so that no one misses the call. Patient's parents or gurdians are allowed to stay in the daytime in a specific place prepared for them outside the hospital building during the waiting hours. They usually brings mat, bedsheets,foods and varies necessary things for themselves and wait in the waiting place. There is also toilet facility for the waiting patients and patient guardians. Swipers and cleaners are always cleaning the hospital premises. You will not find a single bit of bad smell here. That tells the higienis of the hospital. Ambience of the hospital is very good. Big big trees are here and there. So, in summer time also people can get shadow and greenery in the hospital. USG and CT scan is done here also. I've seen people coming here from very very far places of kolkata and kolkata surrounding. From other districts also people comes here with there pain and suffering. Doctors here are efficient, reliable , well-behaved and sympathetic.
