New bombay is touted as Flamingo city and rightly so . May 2022 We saw a large flock of lesser flamingos just around low tide. There were lot of families with kids as well as photographers to watch the pink birds. One can see a lot of flamingos at ease here . No need for a boat , just stand and watch ! My friend's grandson really had a great experience.
Awesome place to view the Flamingos at close quarters in the relevant season...I visited in June... Thrilling to watch large flocks of Flamingos circling over the lake and then landing with amazing precision on their thin legs!! Peaceful watching hundreds of them filter-feeding for algae, insects, in the shallow waters of the Lake...A must see!!
This is an amazing place for flamingoes sighting. Went there during low tide. That's when these birds come and during the migratory season. Just taken aback by the wonderful sight of seeing these lovely birds in flocks.
Great place to visit alone or with a group. Flamingos start arriving few hours before high tide in flocks.
The new watch towers are good but the spiral staircase is most dangerous and worst in the rains. No support to hold besides the thick cement bar

A very good place to see the pink beauties. While making a plan to visit here, please plan accordingly to tide timing. Better to visit here during high tides because that is the time when flamingoes shift to shallow waters.
A nice fresh Sunday 16Jan 22 morning stroll along side DPS Lake turned out to be a great nature treat. I could watch plenty of beautiful Ducks, Cranes and above all Flamingos hunting their morning food. Once in a while batches Flamingos in their spectacular fly past landed in the lake. A small but enthusiastic crowd enjoyed the fine morning asking with their two winged friends. Wonderful!!
