Down the Street - Fast food restaurant in Calangute - North Goa, India

Down the street is pure Veg Restaurant on Holiday street , Calangtute , Goa . It is about 2.5 KM away from Calangute beach ( ~ 10 min drive by car) and about 2 KM away from Candolim beach. it is easily accessible from the main road. It's spacious, no frills , budget friendly vegetarian Restaurant. Tourists who need vegetarian Breakfast , can opt . Restaurant serves Dosa's ( Masala, Mysore Masala, Plain ), Uttapam ( Plain, onion, Tomato and Masala ), Vada pav, Puri Baji, Poha , Mirchi and etc . All the dishes were well prepared. Resturart can be recommended for Veg breakfast in around Calangute and Candolim. Quick service and Flexible seating arrangements can be made if family size is big. Overall Satisfactory experience at the Restaurant.

I am their regular customer. This is the only place near beach & front of main road where you can get good quality chai in glass only 10/- Here pao vaji , samosa, pakora, south Indian food available. Here self service available no table service. Place is clean. Owner is very nice person. Now only breakfast & branch (evening snacks) available. Now it's open for morning and evening .

Evening tea was great! The soothing warmth and delightful flavors made it a perfect treat.

In Calangute probably this is a good budget option for having a veg meal. Good quality food is maintained and the place is hygienic too

Only had tea here, which was too sweet and light. They offer a lot of chaat items like vada pav, Samosa etc. which was being prepared fresh n hot while we visited at around 5-6 PM. Pure veg place for chaat lovers in a some-what better than streetside setting.

Amazing food and recommended to all North and South Indian searching for tea,South Indian food and even chole bhature and samosas price is also great
