Dovers Inn - Hotel in Kolkata - Kolkata, India

I am currently staying in the hotel in room 304. I have had one of the worst hotel experiences here. The rooms are filthy. Bedsheets are grey and stained. Towles look like they have been used to mop thw floor. But the worst by far is the attitude of the staff. There is a woman at reception who is the worst receptionist I have met in my life. She demands money from me every time I leave the hotel. She just asked me to pay the food bill and then could not provide me with a receipt for my payment. Totally incompetent and very rude. A lethal combination when it comes to hospitality.

No one will book this hotel. The behavior of the owner of this hotel is very rude and arrogant. I booked a room (No-203, on 21/10/2023 ) for 2700 for 1 day to see Durga Puja, but for a small mistake, the owner treated me so badly that I wanted to leave the hotel immediately. The owner has no polite usage at all. No one can accept such bad behavior by shouting. the Owner is a quarrelsome, and very arrogant man. It seems that there is no owner in India except him. So much pride. If you book with money, do something else where you will get respect. thank you

Stayed for one night in room no 103. Walls of the room had seepage and water was leaking in the washroom. I don't think they wash the bedsheets and pillow covers often. The chair in the room was broken. Checkin was smooth but not great. No toiletries were provided. Better to avoid this one.

Rooms and facilities are good. But some repairing and maintenance needed for civil area. Room rent is extremely competitive and pocket friendly. Location is the killer. Best in Kolkata.

We booked the room for a school reunion party for few hours. The room is decent. The room charge is okay but they charged us Rs 3500 for spilling food on bedsheet. Of course nobody would spill food intentionally but since we were too many people so the chairs were not sufficient and few had to sit on the bed and eat. While eating little food was spilled on the bed for which the charge is more than the actual room tarriff. The food options are very limited. They said outside food is allowed but when we asked for plates,glasses and cutlery they said they don't have enough to provide and can provide disposable glasses. Didn't like the place at all. Suggestions to people who are planning to book rooms please beware of the damage charges.

Fab hotel is not a hotel its just a garbage area and the services was so poor I recommend please don't book this hotel even by mistake or if free giving they are liar and very rude food was its like we are eating in street please makemy trip block fabhotel from your site its like scam they are doing!

Good Wash room must be at reception for waiting customer. Lift facility must be for senior citizens like me. Otherwise Dovers Inn is ok.
