Double Dutch Resort - Resort hotel in Athoor - Dindigul, India

Having heard so much about Double Dutch I was here for 5 nights in 2022, with my two dogs. Its a beautiful, restful place, by the Kamarajar Lake. I was at Shanthi Nivas which had great views. Areas of improvement: The bathrooms were grimy and dirty with black rings on the toilet seat, and so were the sheets on the bed. I cleaned the bathroom myself and used my own top sheet for the bed. Paulraj and Ramya (who run the place on behalf of the Dutch owners) were defensive and rude, when I politely asked about cleanliness. They weren't willing to take constructive and polite feedback nor were they interested in cleaning the room. The kitchen too was unhygienic, though the food was delicious!

We had pleasant stay here and felt like home. Mr.Palraj and family were hosting us and kept us in comfort.. Thanks, it was a great stay...

We stayed here just for 1 night along with family and a pet dog, and it was a wonderful experience. The resort is located in a very beautiful location with awesome views. The view from the room is so relaxing and you forget the city stress. The staff was very friendly , courteous and helpful. We will definitely come back fora longer stay.

Stayed for a night and was such a peaceful stay. Special thanks to Paulraj and team for giving a homely feel which made us feel like family. Will remember the walk near the lake. Tip: Take a chair along if you want to watch the birds near the river.

Most beautiful place we have ever met in life. Calm and quiet place. A nature lover can't leave the place. God's creation is made intact and nothing is artificial there. That's the beauty. Overall service is excellent. The hospitality is so good and they do take care of us as a family. So happy that we had a great time at the Resort. We will visit again...

Decent place, although there are better similar places in the adjoining area. Location is great, Lake is visible from the resort. Place is not well kept. Swimming pool is smaller in size. Food is great. Prices are reasonable Service is good

I visited with my parents in January 2021. It is hard to describe the beauty of this place. The sights and sounds are soulful to say the least. The staff here treated us like family. The food was great. They have lovely dogs that would escort my parents on their morning walk. All in all, a great refreshing experience for a very reasonable price.
