I have visited them twice and my experience has been good both the times. Though the food was okayish at first instance and good at second. Don't go by their name.. They serve other vegetarian food too alongwith the south indian. They have all types of dosa, uttapams, idlis and vada and other south indian delicacies. And also serve chinese and north indian food. They have some good combos too. You can also try many drink options available. On weekend they get good rush while on weekdays you can get a table easily. They are located just before radhey lal sweets towards the Kapoorthla from nehru bal vatika road, aliganj. Can try them surely.
Service is the worst. See white chutney, it was pathetic. I have been here in the past but this time every thing was worst. They took forever to make the dishes and when it came about after 1 hour, some things were missing. summary: If you have lot of time and patience and then too for eating not worthy food of the process you are paying, go for it. Suggestion: Please rectify your services
Dosa planet has lost it's charm. Their signature dosa is also average so now you can understand. The stuffing was homemade aloo ki sabji with water which was so much in quantity that it made the dosa soggy. Visibly tempting but not in taste. Everything is average, not bad nor good. nowhere near to authentic south indian. Maybe bcz they serve so many dishes they have forgotten their usp.
An amazing place with quite good ambience and service. Coming to the food so they have North Indian, Chinese & South Indian and the must try items are Cheese Burst Dosa, Chur Chur Naan , Tandoori Momos and Sizzler. Portion size is good at very reasonable prices and amazing taste.
This place got opened recently but i am very much impressed with the variety of dosas ghey serve.The service is fast . Manager is always on floor looking after service.Decore and music is really soothing.Good experimental menu.I really lovee the complimentary buttermilk they gave.I had cheese burst dosa which was unique and task. The place has a decent ambience. We tried Peking soup and taste was pretty good. For main course, we ordered malai kofta along with mushroom masala and naan. The quality of food is pretty good and was brought piping hot. However the taste can be improved a bit. Howevee I felt the quantity of the food was not enough. However , end to end it was a pretty decent experience. Overall 3.5 Best thing, you get 10% discount on a Zomato review.
One of the best restaurants for vegetarians in Lucknow. The place offers great food ranging from several types of cuisine like south indian, north indian, Chinese etc. But the deal breaker is the South indian cuisine. Full with flavours and taste, it never disappoints my taste buds. Dosa Planet has been consistently delivering quality food for quite a while now and some of my recommendations will be chole bhature, chilli Chipotle Dosa, chocolate coffee and Schezwan Dosa.
