Was a great adventure altogether the trip from Lakhimpur is 80km. The place is beautiful and has everything that you want from nature. Book the safari beforehand it can be helpful or book it before 1pm. The dormitory also has canteen service and you can have a buffet for 350 and 400 per person. The perk is awesome and you can be lucky to see both tiger and rhino.deers can be seen everywhere. A must visit place.
Perfect for a weekend trip from Lucknow, though convenience is very poor. Booking a car in advance is the best option. Resorts nearby the national park are unnecessarily expensive, it's better to stay in a hotel in palia kalan which is just 10km from the park. Morning safari is recommended though it may dissappoint you. We didn't see any single wild animals there. It was just a car ride inside the jungle.
The jungle is as exciting & thrilling as it is always. Locating and witnessing animals is tough and we were unlucky as we missed witnessing a tigress by 5 mins. About the staying part, we had booked our stay through online system of govt website and since cottages were full, we were alloted Sanjha Kutir. It is a dormitory and very well managed. I felt that the accomodation is reasonable but the prices of food at canteen are exorbitantly high. Rest, it is Dudhwa

Dudhwa National Park, Don't expect too much as all is depend on your luck about animals.Well maintained park by ecotourism specially safari ride. Please carry belonging according to climate/weather condition. I would prefer to visit zim Corbett for better experience. :)
Beautiful place and all facilities available for turist.
The rooms are well cleaned and big enough. The staff is good and management is very nice. Main thing is that all things are being maintained by UP government but you will be surprised to see the facility it's like a private hotel. When I checked in I got a personal room attendant who was always ready to serve you. Must visit this place.
