Very oldest restaurant in pune, they have maintained their interior and test of food. ...... It's too much awesome.... I suggest to all please visit once. Limited spicy food we can enjoy. The restaurant has all the proof of their presence from old times. They have authentic making in now day's too.

I've heard a lot about this place and finally got a chance to visit. First positive points: Chicken n mutton cutlets are crispy fried n really good. Liked Mutton Salli kheema. Negative points: Patra fish was too bland. The small slice doesn't justify the price. Read about the uniqueness of the soda, but found nothing special. Ginger n lemon were ok. Raspberry n orange were too sweet. Cutlets and other items also seem a little overpriced. Noticed slow service even though it was not crowded.

The food at Dorabjee used to be legendary, especially the Mutton Biryani. Apart from excellent quality of meat and subtle masalas, we believe the extra oomph comes from slow cooking on natural wood fire. The Kid Roast and Masala Roast are simply superb. The Brain Cutlet, Liver Masala, Kidney Sukha and Kidney Curry are also among regular orders. While Kheema and Akuri is the breakfast special, steaming hot Paya (goat trotters) is available in the evenings only. And you cannot leave without tasting the delicious Custard Pudding. Dorabjee must be the only restaurant in Pune that shuts when it runs out of food, which is pretty often. Not high on ambience or decor, this is a place strictly for hogging only only in recent years the quality seems to have dropped slightly. Takeaway is recommended.

Nice food. You get authentic Parsi Cuisine here. We started with Chicken Cutlet. Then we had Chicken Just superb food. You get authentic Parsi Cuisine here. We started with Mutton Kheema Chicken Dhansak salli. Then We had Biryani.Lastly we had custard which was amazing at taste.They are very good at Service.

Visited for lunch. Had Chicken/Mutton cutlet - it was okay and tasted bland, nothing special. Veg dhansak with brown rice - combination was good. Mutton kheema - tasted good and it was a bit tangy and not spicy. Raspberry soda tasted like cough syrup , some people may like it. I visited this place with great expectations but I think the taste of food did not live up to the hipe.

It is one of the oldest Parsi restaurant in Camp, Pune. Tasty food. Clean and hygienic. Parking space available for two wheelers, difficult to find parking for cars. Slow service. Little expensive. Less quantity/portion of food. We tried their chicken cutlet, mutton cutlet, chicken dhansak, chicken biryani and caramel custard. The food was really tasty and authentic. The cutlets were oily but tasty. The biryani had a strong flavour of aromatic spices. It was not spicy but flavourful. The chicken dhansak was a lentil curry soft with brown rice. The chicken pieces were fresh and tender. The custard was adequately sweet, quite soft and tasty. Must visit if you like Parsi food.

To All the South Indians !! The restaurant is good and the atmosphere is ok. But the food is not at all tasty. We have tried Chicken Dhanshak, mutton cutlet, brown rice and lemon soda. Chicken Dhanshak is nothing but a chicken sambar, it tastes exactly like moongdal sambar. The mutton cutlet tastes like Vada.. lastly lemon soda mixture of soda and chlorine water. Don't expect much but history which is not worthy.

One off our Pune food list. Situated cozily in the legendary Camp area, this restaurant gives a nostalgic vibe as soon as one enters. We started with mutton cutlet, moving to the mutton biryani, both prepared in a Parsi style. Pairing these with Ardy's cranberry soda was perfect. And finished with a caramel custard. Must try for any cultural history lovers.
