This tower is located South of our Residency. It adds nice visual stimulant to any photograph shot. It may look simple but it is one of the vital Tower which helps the DD time beam their signal across the city.

A Public Service Broadcasting Organisation wholly owned by the Government of India dedicated to promote education and infotainment with special thrust on indigenous culture and literature. It played a noteworthy role in spreading good practices for agriculture, health and hygiene.

July 1, 1986. Doordarshan Kolkata got a new and permanent address at Golf Green, housing this large complex, inaugurated by Rajiv Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India. How many of you knew this..??
