This is a very bad restaurant. We took Chicken Donor and Mutton platter. It tastes okay but nothing like what you get in Germany or any European country. The quantity is very less and the price is expensive. We 2 guys ordered for 1000 bucks and exited with half filled stomach. We den had to go to other restaurant. There is no hand wash basin and I'm not sure if these guys are expecting us to eat the donor in forks and spoon. Given the price, why can't they even keep a good sanitizer instead of phenyl.
Doner & Gyros located at Phoenix Market City (Kurla) takes you to the Mediterranean journey. With Halal concepts, this is one great place for anyone looking for tasty and delicious meal. We visited for dinner on a weekend, and the place looks awesome with a neat decor and a robust menu. We ordered Chicen Over Rice with sweet and sour salad which was sufficient for two pax, and it had all the ingredients to make it our stomach. The bottom of the bowl was however mild cold, hence we asked them the warm the food, and they did. Overall, it was a great experience.
Doner & Gyros is a decent small cafe located inside Pheonix Marketcity near the food court. The ambience is good and the staff is friendly as well. Their menu had a lot of options in wraps/tacos type. The quality of food is really good and delicious. We ordered 1 Cheese & Jalapeno poppers which were cheese enough served with Mexican salsa sauce which was sweet and there were around 8-10 small poppers. We also went for Southwestern Fried chicken strip which was the best chicken with beautiful crisp served with cheese dip. In pizza we ordered Grilled chicken pizza which tasted amazing and in Beverages we went for Watermelon Mojito which was okayish as it had more soda which overpowered the watermelon flavour. Overall the experience was good.
Was a little disappointed with the gyros. I ordered a chicken gyros, and typically it is meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie like a shawarma which is sliced and served hot off the grill with pita bread and other accompaniments but it wasn't traditionally cooked. Also missed having fries typically paired with gyros. Rs.365 for a gyros was not at all worth the money, had it been a fuller combo with fries and better cooked chicken it would have been worth it
The best part about this restaurant is that it's never too crowded, and is a very cute little place. The food is good and different from your usual burgers and pizzas. The only downside is that there are some flies in the restaurant and they are bothersome while you are trying to eat.
Good food... spices and flavors are good. Nice music in the background. Would have been a higher rating except there were so many fruit flies bothering me before and during my meal.
A good place to try Doner (Pita Bread) and Gyro( Lebanese Bread). Descent taste but prices are but high.
