BHOLE BABABHOLE BABA

Dixit Wada Museum is a captivating treasure trove of history and culture that I had the pleasure of visiting. This unique museum offers a fascinating journey through time, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of the region. The collection of artifacts and exhibits on display is simply outstanding. It beautifully showcases the art, crafts, and traditions of the area, providing a glimpse into the lives of those who came before us. The attention to detail in curating this museum is commendable, and it's clear that a lot of care and effort has gone into preserving the cultural heritage.

Dixit Wada Museum : A charming little museum, Dixit Wada Museum is home to some of the rarest black and white images of Sai Baba and villagers. These images are very interesting for devotees and tourists who want to understand the lifestyle of Sai Baba's days. The museum also displays a few items of clothing of Baba, along with a Kafni and leather Padukas meaning chappals that belonged to him and his smoking pipes. Except for these, one can see the cooking utensils, water tumblers, gramophone records and a number of other items that were used by Sai Baba. Location: Sanstha Complex, Mauli Nagar. Timings: 10 am to 6 pm on all days.

Shirdi Sai Museum Sai Museum in Shirdi is a rich repository of all things associated with Shri Saibaba. Kept under the maintenance of Saibaba Sansthan of Shirdi, the Museum has some of the most intimate and personal belongings of the Spiritual Guru Saibaba. Devotees from across the world visit this Museum that is a part of Dwarkamai. The Sai Museum has carefully kept many of the things that were close to this charismatic Guru. It has Saibaba's padukas or footwear, which are revered by the Sai devotees. The place also has some of the coins that Saibaba gave to Malsapati, the priest of Khandoba. The museum preserves the two utensils that were used to feed people in hordes. In these utensils one was small and other big. The smaller one was used to provide food for 50 people while the big one was used to serve a group of 100 people. The museum also has a Grinding Mill that was used by Lord Saibaba. This grinding mill has its own significance and is symbolic of the deep-seated philosophy of Sri Saibaba. The Grinding Mill posits the concept of Dharma and Bhakti that must come together for the ultimate salvation. The upper stone symbolized Bhakti and the lower one was representative of Dharma. Deciphering the true essence of life the mill showed that with the faith on Dharma and Bhakti, mankind could achieve the state of Supreme Being. Articles that were personally used by Saibaba are kept in Samadhi temple. Devotees can witness these articles when in the Samadhi temple. The Sai museum also has the chair that was used by God Saibaba regularly. You can also have a look at the cot on which Saibaba's last bathing took place after his demise. There is this earthenware, which was used by Saibaba while begging. The pot in which Saibaba stored water is still here and full with water even today. There is the original chimta carefully preserved in here that Saibaba used while singing

In case you are aware of various miracles, stories of Sai Baba and his life, you can very much relate to all the stuff kept and maintained in this museum. This is inside the temple premises. You will be happy to know more about Sai Baba's life - his personal belongings, utensils, photographs etc are well preserved with descriptions maintained against each of the objects. It is very close to Samadhi Mandir, and you should spend a few minutes inside this museum after your darshan.

1) we visited on 5th and 6th sept 2018. 2) this is a museum, where u can see different items which were orignally used by saibaba himself. # sandals # wheat grinding stone # saibaba's cloth # photographs of saibaba # cot on which saibaba last bathed after his demise. # stone on which saibaba used to take bath # gifts which were given to sai baba- palkhi, but never used by saibaba. # 2 big handi or metal vessel, in which saibaba used to make food. # there are 5 idols of God, which were to be placed in saibaba samadhi temple, but after saibaba's demise his samadhi was kept infront of saibaba's idol. 3) it can take approx 30 minutes to see all the items in this museum and read the description which is written in marathi and english.

Well and organised museums very adjacent to Sai Gurusthan in Shirdi temple. We can see the articles mostly used by Sri Sai Baba here. The grinding stones, kufni wore by baba, syamakarna horse decoratives, chilum of smoking, vessels used by Sri Sai Ram are some of the articles displayed there. A must visit place in Shirdi very nearer to Samadhi Mandir.
