Diwan-e-Khas is inside Jodha Bai Mahal in Fatehpur Sikri Agra. Among many structures, this is another historical monument in the complex famous for its beautifully designed pillar. It is said that Akbar used to sit in the middle with his Navratans and listen and solve people's issues. Today, it's well preserved and a good thing to see.

The Diwan-e-Khas was the hall of private audience, where the emperor would meet with important guests and conduct important state affairs. The building is known for its impressive architecture and design, which incorporates elements of both Mughal and Hindu styles. The most notable feature of the Diwan-e-Khas is the central pillar, which is made of a single block of red sandstone and is intricately carved with floral designs. The pillar is said to have been brought to Fatehpur Sikri from a temple in nearby Gwalior. The building also features several smaller pillars, each of which is topped with a capital of a different design. The walls of the Diwan-e-Khas are decorated with intricate carvings and paintings, many of which depict scenes from Hindu mythology. Overall, the Diwan-e-Khas is considered to be one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture in India and is a popular tourist attraction in Fatehpur Sikri. Very well maintained and clean, beautiful heritage and architecture, totally worth a visit. The sad part is at the entrance of the site where a bus takes you to the entrance. Sellers and guides are literally begging and it might feel very uncomfortable to deal with so many requests. Don't be deterred as inside the site you'll enjoy calm and beauty. Recommended.

It is one of the world's oldest castle. This is where Akbar Jodha and all lived. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes as there will be lots of walking. Beautiful architecture and lots of history. It does get a bit crowded but it's a must see. You do need a guide to see everything. The guide did provide some helpful information and history so it was nice to learn that. The guide also helped us to take some nice pictures. Make sure to bargain with the everyone for the pricing. Also, there are these kids that sell stuff but don't stop or buy from them. All of them will crowed you really fast. so avoid that. Keep an eye on your stuff. The have buses that go back and forth between the parking lot and this so you will need to take that. Enjoy and be safe

Mughal Emperor Akbar used to hold meeting here with his nine gems (Navratna) & Ministers and took their advice on administration & social welfare.

It's a beautiful structure built symmetrically for general public, ministers and the king. There's a place where Jehangir had hung a bell where anyone can plead justice .

The intricate designs and historical importance make it a must-visit destination for history and architecture enthusiasts.
