District Museum Tezpur - Museum in Tezpur - Sonitpur, India

The Museum contains various medieval rock sculptures, medieval coins, relics and many other antiques. Entry is free which I loved the most.

Good collection of ancient coins of Mughal era , religious scrips , weapons , an old wooden boat made of single wooden log.

The art heritage of Assam is well preserved. Must visit.

Nice place. Please view the muga dress on display and admire the exquisite embroidery. The staff is helpful in explaining the stuffs on display.

Located on main road.u will reach there very easily.u should visit for once

Its easy to find and easy to reach Its not so big the entrence is free its shocase old age sculptures and arts some old wapens and scripts good not but great

It was closed by the time to visit but near by place Agnighar is awesome to visit.
