District Hospital, Tumakuru - Hospital in Tumakuru - Tumakuru, India

Because of this hospital I have lost my grandfather today. Service was the worst and doctors didn't know the kannada to communicate with farmers'backgrounds. Health ministry shame on you people. That's why the public does not trust the govt hospitals.

District General Hospital of Tumkur was founded on 30th January 1948 by the then Maharaja of Mysore Sri Sir Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar. The hospital caters to over 2 million people in Tumkur district, currently it is a 300 bedded hospital that sees over 1000 people every day. It provides round the clock facilities of Emergency Room, N-ICU & Labor Wards. Also has ART Center, Renal Dialysis & Onco-surgical care. It also comprises of 'Government School of Nursing Tumkur' which is a co-educational institution, takes in around 50 nursing students each year.

Heavy croud staff not supported to people's properly staff negligence. Higher authority not taken a proper planning especially in room' no 27 Patients waiting 4to 5 hours for one small blood report

This is the worst experience in my life, that gynaecologist lady doctor usha, behaves very badly with me, no minimum manners with the patients , talks very arrogant and behaviour like wild animals, she talks in a singular language, no minimum respect for the patients, someone has to teach a lesson to such arrogant doctors

One of the worst govt hospital in entire state , no courtesy at all , specially doctors from emergency ward treat patients as beggars , scolds people who come to emergency ward at night times ,that's the reason people are not turning to govt hospitals, one of the doctors from emergency ward spoke so rudely that my brother who was patient just felt soo embarrassed that he turned back without any treatment .

Worst experience, corrupted, doctors visit late, lot's of brokers influence, Nurse misbehaving with patients, it's merry-go-round need to visit everyday to get proper medication, staff don't help patients and need to search for particular rooms on our own. Better not to visit.

Hospital is not well maintained its all dirty and it's look like slum

Some staff people are not very rude and doesn't provide correct information required by the patients and ask for money
