District Hospital Nedumangad is one of the best hospitals in Nedumangad that serves a majority of the people who cannot afford expensive healthcare services. However, being a government hospital, it's always crowded, and there are limited parking facilities available. The hospital provides treatment for almost all kinds of diseases, and free drugs are available for patients. However, the long queues for availing of this facility can be quite frustrating for patients. Despite the parking and queueing issues, the hospital provides excellent healthcare services and is a great option for those who cannot afford private healthcare.

Exquisite. Very nice dealings by staff. Doctors are of world class standards. One of the best district level hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. Pros * For taking OP ticket there are 2 separate queues for men and women. Give your details to get OP ticket (Name, Age, Place, Gender ) then you will get OP ticket and token. There is a seperate counter to take casualty OP tickets. *Well qualified doctors are here in this hospital. It's obvious you will get a good medical treatment and related advices. * Good and experienced famous doctors are available * Xray Charges - Rs 100 only (As on March 2023 ). And there is some relaxation in Xray charges for BPL ration cards patients. * OP ticket charge Rs 5 only (March 2023) * For surgery we have to buy the things needed for surgery and give to them. Cons/Should improve things * Doctor consultancy, Treatment, Medicine is always free but some medicines we have to buy from private medical shops out side hospital which are not available in hospital farmacy. * Hospital, Wards and hospital compounds must be hygienic and clean.

My mom has recently visited the ortho dept and it was really bad experience that the doctor is not spending time and not reviewing well with patients. We are not satisfied with the outcome. I used to be a visitor at this hospital...but at this time its is really a disappointment...please ensure that all the doctors are spending enough time with patients and listen to their concerns. Dont make rush to see other patients like just trying to clear the crowd.

It could have been very fine, had there been hygiene and better facilities to patients. There is always this scenario in here in which huge number of patients waiting for a low number of doctors and support staff.

No one will attend the phncall. We have tried them so many time. But there is no respond. Then what is the use of phone number given

Pathetic treatment, not at all good at dealing casualties.had horrible experience when i went with my kid. They sent us to SAT without giving the emergency injection for seizures whic resulted in prolonged episode and our baby had to be ventilated. No way they deserve to be district hospital

Pathetic Doctor.. I went to this horrible place on 13th may night for high allergic symptoms.. The duty doctor was so sleepy that he didn't even check if I am arregic to some medicines or not.. The medicine he prescribed has high dose of pencilin content which I am allegic of.. Not sure if these govt doctors are there to save the life or kill the patients..
