It's a Gajapati district major hospital. Serves patients from nearby villages and the entire district, providing a range of departments. However, many departments only offer superficial treatments, with doctors often recommending private clinics for major procedures. This trend is common across various departments, as many doctors maintain their private practices. Consequently, patients often perceive government hospitals as delivering substandard care, leading them to seek better treatment at private clinics. Even after 75 years of Independence, a pervasive culture of distrust persists, perpetuating the preference for private healthcare among those with financial means. There is a proper Dental department but in the name of treatment you will get only superficial recommendations no treatment. Govt spending their big budget on education and health care but no parents would prefer govt school and hospital for quality education or treatment.

The hospital is well maintained, specially the new block is built like modern private hospital.but the maintenance could be better.Every doctor in this hospital is maintaining a separate private clinic,that is not at all a good service.as most of the people visit the hospital are poor and low level of health awareness.People doesn't have bad experience but it could better.

Doctors are not available on there cabin as per timing, not about coming timely or leaving timely.. They not available for patients.
