Thank you for sharing your best experience and honest treatment and also providing a high health care quality room and discipline. I hope that in future dispur polyclinic will go high...... My satisfaction and well being should remain forever. And a heartfelt thanks to Dr Niju Pigu team for the successful surgery done to my sister.
Every time whenever me and my family suffer from some serious health issues we admitted here since 2017 ... Specially I want to thanks Dr kalyan Nath sir and Dr S j saikia sir ... For our family both r like god . My mother was suffering from pancreatitis in 2017 AND took treatment under S.J saikia sir. Now she is fine only for Dr S.J saikia sir During last 1 year i need to get admited here two times for my health issue under Dr kalyan Nath sir.. His behavior and simplicity make us comfortable in every hurt situation For our every visit i just want to say hospitality , fees structure, Nursing dept provide us a wonderful service
This is a review I wrote, while waiting on an iron bench on the ground floor of Dispur Polyclinic. So as uncomfortable it is to sit on one, my review may too uncomfortably sit amidst an array of positive reviews (read, paid reviews) of the hospital. Dilapidated: For the charges they demand for their services, the place is in shambles. A hospital's quality is reflected in the way it maintains its public toilets and washrooms. They are worse than the ones you see on our trains. The condition of the ICU is a tragedy in itself. The ICU gate staff very strictly asks visitors to wear plastic shoe covers before going inside (a very good thing to do), but they themselves walk in and out without wearing those covers. I have seen doctors do the same, non-chalantly. The staff members don't wear masks, not do the doctors. And hey, if you are looking for sanitizer dispensers, good luck. Who uses sanitizers anyway? Or masks. Uncouth: Before you meet your doctor, you would meet the desk staff for appointment, before that you would probably meet the guard at the gate. And the guard that you'd meet at the gate would ruin your temper, even before you enter the premises. This sets off like a chain reaction. I haven't encountered such uncounth, unmannerly, rude hospital staff anywhere else. And this is Guwahati, not any remote place in the North East. I don't know where they have been hired from, but they clearly are not trained properly. Zero empathy: The staff lacks it, the doctors lack it, the management lacks it. A very simple example: Since a relative has to be constantly present (24/7) in the premises (for ICU patients), it becomes impossible to stay in the hospital during peak summer (which extends from March to September in Assam), as there are no ACs in the waiting areas. It is only ceiling fans that are in running condition here. The toilets are worse than those on our Tier 3 trains. And there aren't anything available except iron benches to sleep on. People who can't afford to stay in hotels or lodges have go through a nightmare here. Next example: the parking lot. Only the doctors or the privileged ones get to park here. Commuting to this place is impossible if you have an emergency. The management isn't doing anything to address this issue. Coming to doctors and staff (at least the ones I got to interact with), they appeared to be stupidly arrogant. They don't like to be asked questions, they keep you waiting unnecessarily and their explanations (of patient issues) are difficult to understand. This is the opposite of how learned doctors explains the most difficult medical conditions in the easiest of terms for people to understand them. Money-minting machine: I don't think I will need to explain a lot here. As is the case with most private hospitals in Guwahati, this one too is after your wallet. Which is fine, as long as the services given in return are world-class. Dispur Poly Clinic fails miserably even at being a mediocre medical facility in Guwahati. This place is running because there are a still a few good docs left (as I was told). I didn't meet them. To me it appeared like a place that is run like a government office from the 1980s - greedy, beauracratic, arrogant and slow. If you can avoid, please don't come here to treat your loved ones. I lost my father to this hospital. Note to the hospital management & doctors: You exist because of your patients. Not the other way round. The older generation of patients probably don't realise this. But the next generation certainly does. You will be avoided, you will ditched and you will be criticized if you don't level up.
We had an amazing stay and treatment here in Dispur Polyclinic Hospital. Nurses and doctor here are an overall package of kindness, their service is topnotch. And a heartfelt gratitude to Dr. H. Mohan for the successful surgery done to my family. Your outstanding service of kindness and punctuality will be remembered genuinely and not forgetting the sympathy shown upon my family and the surgery undertaken under your covering and your deeds is indeed a wholesome blessing for us. May Good Lord bless more. Lulenmayang, Mokokchung, Nagaland.
If there was a negative star to give, I would have done that. The receptionist at the Fertility clinic (3rd floor) needs to undergo training on how to do a front-desk job. She is too entitled and is quick to throw a "misbehaving" complaint whenever anyone tries to raise an issue. And let's not get into the issue of "time-keeping" in this hospital.
If you love your family then don't admit your patient here. They are slaughters. They need only money. Despite giving them lakhs of lakhs money you will get horrible service and rude behavior from doctors and nurses.
Had done laparoscopic cholesectomy by the renowned Dr N N Das and Dr Parag. The care, support and encouragement I got during the time of my stay in hospital was immensely appreciated. Thankyou.
OT service on the first floor is bad. Recovery room nurses are lazy. The payment counter guy is slow and confused. They do not follow first come first service. Had to wait from 8am to 12pm in the OT waiting room. Poor recovery room service. Only good thing in Polyclinic is the IVF Center and their staff. Please do an inspection of the OT nurses on the first floor. They need to get up from their chairs
