This is a temporary sale market of Sikkim. In this market other states of people came And sell their products. Most of the the products are handicrafts Means hand maded. This market is placed at monastry muesuem. Today is the last day of this market. We have seen very beautiful arts of hand made products and enjoyed Thank u so much

It's a good place if you want to see the local products and handicrafts of Sikkim. It's small but worth noticing the cultural heritage of Sikkim.

As I understood, this place has a lot of tourists. But frankly speaking there is almost nothing to see. I'm sure Sikkim has a rich cultural and traditional sourses. But what you can see there - 2 or 3 counters with so limited items. Museum with 20 years old heritages - also astonishing. Yes, I had better expectation. I came to handcraft centre to be inspired, and if fact it's opposite :)) And I'm sure it's possible to handle in amazing way. In centre of Singtam in restaurants are better and older cultural exhibits. Why museum / handcraft centre looks so frustrating?! Ah yes, parking is terrible.

We visited this place on Monday but still there was a lot of rush during our visit. Parking area in this place was very crowded. This place depicts the heritage of Sikkim and local traditional dress,food, way of living, jwellery, tradition, farming techniques and much more. You can also get to dress in Sikkim's traditional dress and get a photoshoot. But I felt it was quite dear. Rs 100 per person and that too without print of the foto. We paid rs 250 for a click in the dress. You can visit the museum too.

We must all visit this place and support them, we saw the classes going on and how the students learn to make different handicraft items. It feels happy to know so many disabled children are learning to earn a living and will soon live an independent life.

Good to know that places like these exist where traditional skills are taught to the new generation. The carpets are really nice and so are the bamboo lampshades. People in the store are also very friendly. The organisation however is chaotic with random directions, an obstacle path to go from.point A to B

The place is good for visiting local handicrafts of Sikkim. If you are wishing to buy something local handcrafted then you can check out this place as well. It has nearly about 3-4 rooms in total which displays handicraft items like rugs, mats, toys, traditional Sikkim clothes, bags and many more items.

Good place to buy hand crafted products. There were some students who were learning this hand crafting under some teacher. If you love to see how carpet, shawl n all are woven then this is best place. You will get the generic idea. There is Rs15 entry fee. Which is worth to give to see their efforts for handcraft.
