Very nice place with very nice people. Situated on the first floor of the main "Brigade Road" it allowed me to take a calm lunch. The menu is very large, so a wide choice of dishes. I ordered some mutton byriany and a coke ( they put salt and spices in the coke, which was surprisingly good, but I was not aware of that before ordering ). Also, Indian foods can be very spicy , so I specifically asked about it before ordering... Well, as a standard French guy, do not trust the waitress It was really too spicy for me, and I only ate the half (so I asked to wrap the leftovers to go, food was sincerely really good and throwing away is truly a waste). It's good to try local dish but I can guarantee there's less spicy byriany at others places . And so, I ordered some Gulab Jamun (a very sweet Indian dessert, like a small soaked ball bread in syrup) ice cream. Even though it was very sweet, it was still very good Service was perfect, with curious and attentive people.

Visited on 24th Dec for lunch to try out the brand. We were offered the specials for the day Dindigal - Naidu Mutton Biryani. The sweet corn soup wasn't that good. The ambience was good though the service was slower. Still liked the taste as we ordered both veg and non-veg items.

Good ambience. Rest average. Always playing loud music, even after requested to lower the volume. The washroom was wet and had water leakage. Hand dryer had cold water flow, so no use. Table does not have any extra spoon and salt, pepper sprinkler. You have to request for them! We had ordered biriyani. They just bring the foods to the table and not offers to serve. Taste was also average. Overall not a good experience. I will not visit them again.

I was a fan of their biryani always. But this time tried veg joy box and paneer butter masala. Veg joy box is a good combo of biryani rice, perfectly spiced and flavourful, paneer pakodas, paneer roll. Everything was good jn taste. Paneer butter masala was too delicious, thick consistency gravy with fresh paneer cubes. It was prepared nicely and had a very tempting aroma. It pairs well with chapati or paratha. Great taste. Also, the portion size was good enough. The packaging was superb, no spillage.

When it comes to biryani, thalakapatti is my one stop. I have always enjoyed their biryani a lot. This time I tried Veg biryani, belove me, the flavour was amazing. It was delicious, rightly spiced. It was served with salan and onion raita. They use small rice, but the taste is just perfect. I also tried egg fried rice, it was amazing too. Looking forward to try more and more dishes. Overall the portion size was sufficient enough and the packaging is on point.

Except biryani nothing great about the place. Slow unattentive service, most of the local regional speciality dishes are not available. I dont knowwhat chinese & punjabi food doing in an authentic thalapakatty restaurant. Not a place to waste my money second time.

Very clean. Food was good. We ordered mutton briyani, ceylon egg paratha, pepper chicken and chicken munchurian. They were served on time and tasted good. Good service

Nice place. Known for its biriyani and non veg. Veg food is not so bad after all. We had panner tikka, veg biriyani and veg curry with roti. Panner tikka and veg curry were good but the biryani had too much masala for our liking. But overall had a very good experience. Typically on a weekday their is a wait of about 10 to 15 mins One of the best biriyani in south India is now available in Bangalore. Amazing taste of biriyani and varieties of starters. Price is high but the quantity is also good. Mutton dishes are good. Weekends are crowded. Biriyani and mutton starters are must try. Soon will try with other dishes. The food is really good and would suggest to anyone who is looking for a nice Biriyani or any non veg for that matter. The food also has a nice traditional taste to it. The place was a little cramped and as crowd gets higher the staff try and get u out of there as soon as possible. This is a slight inconvenience to groups who want to relax after their meal. Also some of the staff in white shirts were just standing around leaning against the pillars which was blocking the walking paths for any customer in the already cramped spaces. They can be a little more aware of who is around and what's happening.
