Dindigul Thalappakatti Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Udumalaipettai - Tiruppur, India

The atmosphere and ambience was very good and neat. The flaws that we felt were 1. We didn't get the authentic flavour of Thalapakatti as we get in Chennai or Bangalore. 2. The quantity in everything was very low compared to the price. 3. Ordered chicken ghee roast for 280 rs and just got 2 pieces without any ghee taste on it. Usually we get at least a minimum of 4-5 pieces. 4. The fish finger that we ordered in the first place, we got the order after so many requests only after finishing the whole meal and unfortunately we had to cancel it. 5. Very slow in processing everything. Travelled the whole way from Pollachi to Udumalaipet and was not satisfied. Could improve and match other Thalapakkatti expectations as the ones who at most love Thalapakkati would be disappointed. Biryani was normal and average. A very good parking was available. Restroom facility was also available.

I recently tried the biriyani, and I have to say, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The flavors were a bit underwhelming, and I was expecting a more authentic taste. personally the biriyani i ate was not worth the dignity of the other franchises. Better improve the food.

Briyani's taste of the franchise needs to be improved, compared to the other locations like Chennai etc., But rest of items are good. Few varieties in the menu are unavailable, may be due to location constraints. Visited few number of times but didn't saw much crowd at any time. Still, few number of times they took a bit time to deliver the ordered parcel. Expecting the management to make sure all these have been rectified in near future.

Love DT's biriyani, good improvement in meat quantity in my recent orders, This hotel's masala Cola + biriyani is a heavenly combo but don't know where most of the Cola went this time so I contacted the customer care ~ they apologized and he said "aah nee photo eduthu vechuko" while ending the call, good service, here comes the requested photo

As usual, no man power one person for all 10 tables forget the order i gave, and literally, i waited more than 20 min for my main course. Recent time their quality of treating customers is very worst.

The food there is amazing. Their authentic thalappakkatti biriyani with kozhi kulambu was superb. Everybody must try it, and their jigarthanda also. The place is a little expensive than other similar restaurants. But overall everybody must try it atleast once.

This one is going to be name spoiler for entire Dindigul thalappakkatti restaurants. Their biriyani rice doesn't seems like a good quality seeraga samba rice. Briyani doesn't taste like thalappakkatti biriyani, it was like some roadside one. They count the mutton pieces to four numbers in biriyani which costs 350Rs. Totally not worth the money.

May be I went on not so great time!after 3PM) for lunch l, only briyani and couple of side dishes were available. Not at all impressed with the service as the time taken to serve the table was very high(could be the time I went) Briyani was up to the mark as usual and nothing special. Recomend Jamun for dessert
