Dindigul Thalappakatti Restaurant - Featured Reviews (3948)
I enjoyed the Food and services here. The restaurant is famous for its biryani, which is made with seeraga samba rice and hand-ground spices. We ordered Moru moru prawns, Naidu's Dindugal Mutton biryani, and chicken kothu parota. The prawns were super tasty, crispy outside and juicy inside and went well with the Mayo dip provided. The biryani was aromatic and flavorful, and the mutton pieces were tender and succulent, but less in quantity. The kothu parota was a spicy and tasty dish made with shredded parathas, eggs, chicken, and onion-tomato masala. The portions were generous and the prices were a bit high, but totally worth it for the taste and quality of service. The service was fast and friendly. The ambience was clean and comfortable. The restaurant is located in a convenient place and can be easily located. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves biryani, and are open to try a new variety of it and to ones who enjoy south Indian cuisine. Hope it helps, Thank you!
My friend and I went here for Lunch. The staff was polite and helpful. We ordered moru moru prawns from starters and chicken Kuthu parotta. The dishes were served within 15 minutes. The staff is quite professional. The moru Moru prawns were delicious and the chicken Kuthu parotta is amazing and very flavourful. Then we ordered Naidu Thalappakatti Dindigul mutton Biryani along with sweet lime soda. The biryani and soda were served within 10 minutes. Loved how flavourful the biryani was here and it is mildly spicey. The flavour of the mutton in infused in the biryani rice well. The sweet lime soda is very well made. It felt like the soda my mom would make at home. It felt simple and homely with the right amount of sweetness unlike other machine made sodas. Overall we loved the experience. It would cost about 400-600 per person in this restraunt. The ambiance if the restrsunt is awesome and the restraunt is well decorated. There is good amount of free 2 wheeler parking available at the restraunt. The Raitha here was really well made and one of the best Raitha's I have had in a long time.
I ate dindigul spl talapakkati mutton biriyani. It's a must try item and was too yum. Also Madurai special Jigirthanda is a must try dessert. Ambience is very good. And service is ok ok.
The food is really good but a little pricey and the quantity is less for the prices of the dishes. We tried the authentic Dindigul thalaplakatti chicken biryani. It tasted great. One might fill only one person. Might be too less for two people to share. Besides biryani, we tried guntur chicken. The guntur chicken was priced the same as the biryani. It was spicy as the name suggests. The service was great. The staff is very warm and friendly.
Too costly for what they serve. Normal non brand restaurant will provide the quality food. The pieces in the food is very very tiny , looks like a street kabab shops pieces and the rice taste wise ok but the rice used we are not satisfied, Beaing brand provide some good quality and quantity of food.
Restaurant has proved its signature taste. So yummy and tasty biriyani among Bangalore. Must try dish is (Nalli chops gravy).
Overly hyped. Taste is not great as they promote. You can get the great biriyani in the Jayanagar with awesome taste and more quantity at the same price. other biriyani restaurant (3 persons) = thalapakkati (1 person) both taste and quantity wise
We visited Dindigul thalappakatti today for the first time, we order mutton biryani and nalli gravy little bit okie with food not much good enough, interrior designs are good and atmosphere too but prices are high.

I had an exceptional experience at Hotel Chandrappa in Mathikere, and I can confidently give it a five-star review. This hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic non-vegetarian naati cuisine. The taste is truly unbeatable. The service
Excellent food, nice ambience and efficient service. I recommend Fish Meals and Prawn fry, great value for money. Vegetable salad just for Rs. 60 is too good.
