Top notch foods....must try moru moru chicken..and great service by thalapakatti. Foodies must try this restaurant.

Today we tried lunch at Dindigul thalapakkatti opposite to district Court. Experience was ok overall few dishes in menu were not available. Both Mutton and chicken Biriyani tasted good quantity is really good felt it was bit more spicy but all other dishes tawa fish, chicken 65, kothu parotta, kulcha, Paneer butter masala, all tasted very normal. Also desserts and shakes are okayish. Service can be bit more good in the upstairs area. Groundstairs the service looked good.

I am giving only a 2 star for the following reasons 1. The wash area was so dirty and stinking very badly. 2. We had to wait for nearly 20 minutes even after a table was allocated...they were cleaning the table for nearly 20 minutes for just 6 of us. 3. The most disappointing thing was ...we chose to go to Thalappakatti because we enjoyed the food in kavasal branch in Madurai. But this branch being in kk Nagar with much more expectations did not even meet the average in taste , cleanliness or customer service. 4. Chicken lolipop served was only partially cooked. 5 . Please have a look at the plantain leaves kept for the customers. ( photos posted) 6. There was tissue papers. 7. The taste of biriyani with thalcha was okay though it was dry. 8. We are paying you and we deserve better service.

Mostly crowded on the weekends difficult to find a table. But, taste wise too good compared to Chennai branches I would say. Service is very good, very polite staff and they treat you with great respect since Madurai is known for it's hospitality.

Was craving for good Non-Veg food on pongal dy but my bad luck most of the restaurants are closed. Initially I planned to visit Kumar MESS but that was also closed so, ended up here at Thalapakatti! Not much crowded but parcel section was very busy. Got seats for 2 persons, ordered mutton biryani, chicken 65, mutton sukka, mutton balls everything was good except the mutton balls. The one which is served at Dindugal venu biryani is my all time favourite and this Thalapakatti mutton balls didn't even reached that taste.. Mutton sukka was top-notch Mutton biriyani got many pieces and was soft and tender Chicken 65 was too good Thalcha served along with biriyani didn't go well and it's better to be had only with the empty gravy. Other than that everything was good. Service guys should take extra care on the table and washing area as there no tissues available. Only after informing 2-3 times they kept it on the table. One more thing to be mentioned, the loyalty points. Don't forget to share your mobile number whenever you visit Thalapakatti and get your loyalty points. I previously had around 900 points and I got 500 points redeemed with this bill and got Rs250 discount on the total amount. That's a good way to make customers visit again and again.. Highly recommend to not visit this restaurant. Full of expired food. All the items I shown in my pictures are expired food. High price but rock bottom in quality. One more family nearer to our table were also complained about their food quality. I don't know how these kind of hotels are running only based on the brand name.

It was great welcome. Atmosphere awesome,but when you come to the best part food all fall down, when i asked some people they said it was famous when small but when it got big it fall with the food taste. The all the item got less salt. But the food was hot.
