Dindigul Thalappakatti Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Enathur, Meenakshi Nagar - Kanchipuram, India

Heard so much about this place that I decided to Though they have now outlets but I wanted to taste it at its original place and form just like we do with our own Hyderabadi biriyani :P After travelling for reached Dindigul in the evening and was excited to go to the restaurant for the dinner. Place is good, with lots of seating. Being dinner time it was little crowded too but the service was quick. Our orders were taken and delivered fast enough. We had of course their mutton biriyani, chicken pepper fry(had to reorder, it was so good) and a prawns curry which went well with paronthas. Wife being on vegetarian diet opted for Paneer Butter Masala and rotis, which surprisingly were also good. we finished off our meal with angoori rasgollas as they had very limited choices in desserts. Overall a satisfying meal and I didn't repented my decision to take a halt at Dindigul at all.

Food tasted best. We ordered chicken 65 biryani, chicken biryani, guntur chicken, prawns fry. Every food item is having its own uniqueness. Must try food.

Decent place , we stopped here on our way to Mahabalipuram from Bangalore Nice ambience and variety of non vegetarian food gun fire chicken is very famous and moru moru prawns are usp of this restaurant

Came here as casual dining, the food was good and tasty, serivce person Muthu was super fast and serviced with care . I recommend this place for all. Cheers Rajkumar V

tried chicken briyani- taste average and moru moru chicken very oliy ... other than that infrastructure and service was good.

if you want to waste money then this place is suggested. we had ordered chicken and mutton biryani, barbecue chicken. this the first time i am eating a barbecue chicken with worst taste, it felt like they boiled chicken in water and applied masala on top of it. pathetic. coming to biryani- it tasted the same no difference between chicken or mutton. no taste no spice nothing. it was too bland. tooo expensive, barbecue chicken half it was 349/- INR. most places it used to be around 250/- INR. not at all recommended.

Great biryani I ever had in my life . And very supportive explanation given about all dishes and starters by staff MUTHU. It a wonderful experience to me . I enjoyed so much. All the best thalapakatti
