Dindigul Thalappakatti Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Theni Allinagaram, Unjampatti - Theni, India

The restaurant did not live up to its hype. I arrived at 2:10 pm and found that only two tables were occupied. I ordered their signature chicken biriyani, which was served in 5 minutes but was cold. The chicken pieces were small and mostly bone, with very little meat. I paid Rs293, including all taxes, for this subpar biriyani. To add to my frustration, they did not have any beverages, not even a fresh lime juice available at that time. The only positive aspect was the good service and the taste of the spices in the biriyani. I do not recommend this overpriced and overrated restaurant that capitalizes on its brand value rather than its food quality.

Biriyani was ok ok, but very oily . Not felt great taste as iam a big fan of tn biriyani but this was not 100%, had this on way from kerala to chennai by road

Wasn't the best Biriyani, I felt that the shop got very commercialised. It did not taste great, it was expensive but we wouldn't have minded paying a little more if the food was of great quality. We have had Biriyanis from you before. Food quality - Average Service - Average

Not great like what it rated as. Service is average and Biriyani was just average here. Quality and quantity doesnt ' work with what the price we pay. Coke is charged in dollars, if served in glass. Check the bill before you leave.

Theni branch is good service and tasty food very good captain(guru) is nice order great job....

Worst experience we had here... in recent times we experienced such a worst experience from Thalappakatti franchise. We waited almost 45 mins to get our orders that too after a quarrel with the people... food was average, less quantity, over priced... please think twice before visiting any Thalappakatti branches in Tamil Nadu.

Located on the main road when travelling back from Munnar, this was an ideal pitstop for us. We stopped there for lunch. Having tasted their biriyani from Chennai outlets we were surprised that the taste here was slightly different. But it was good and I liked it much better. The outlet is small but very clean with prompt service.

Very disappointing experience. We Ordered both chicken and mutton biriyani. There were only 4 tiny little mutton pieces with the biriyani and chicken biriyani is not so different. The price of this biriyani is around double that of normal local biriyani
