I visited this place during my trip to nagaland in December 2022 Hornbill festival. The place is pretty, service was ok but the food I ate was Chicken fried rice and it was amazing. There lot of books as well to read.
A little distant from Kohima but the place is worth the ride. A place great to catch up with friends and family and enjoy the air of the green mountains. They serve a good blend of Korean, Chinese and Naga dishes too!
Bit late review but this was my worst experience in my entire Nagaland tour during October-2021 . We booked couple of nights but had to move out after one night . Visited with family and 12 yrs old kid . # The hotel staff /attendant was more busy serving for the restaurant and not bothered for their boarders. # there is absolutely- zero room service even the room was bit far from the reception and it was difficult at night to come at reception for every basic need. # food quantity was so so less that one portion of a meal was not enough even for a 12 yrs kid # food was server after hours and it was too much expensive. # I recall next day was Sunday and as everything was closed on Sunday we asked about drinking water at the hotel.. with my surprise we found there was no water dispenser to serve for the boarder . This has forced me to think and take serious decision and we checked out from this property. # rooms were good but it was too much of chillness on the ground floor as the rooms seldom get any sunlight. It was surrounded with bamboo bush so the rooms are comparatively cold. If you are visiting just to enjoy the restaurant then this is good but if you are thinking to stay for some days then this is may not be the right place.
The food is great. We stayed at Dawn Homestay but came here twice to eat; before and after our Dzukou trek. The service is slow, so it might not be wise to go when there are too many people. It's a well-maintained cafe where you can click good photos. The staff is very kind. We got to try Soju (even took a bottle back home!)
The food was great, the ambience , also it's surrounding is beautiful. If you love to click pictures or make a video/reel it's an ideal place, many beautiful places inside the premises. Moreover it was a lovely experience, would 10/10 recommend you to come with your friends to hangout or with your family for dinner. Won't regret visiting this place.
We stayed here for 3 days. The rooms didn't have any water. When water was there, it was muddy. The food service is sooooo slow. The only good thing was that we had a bonfire one night and kids enjoyed the company. The location is good if we want to go to Dzuko valley though.
Such delicious food in a small village in Nagaland. Must try! Specially during Hornbill Festival, this is going to be my daily visit.
It's quaint little place on the road to Zakhama. I have stopped there on a few occasions to have tea/coffee, a quick bite or a quick meal. The outdoor seating is great although don't like what they did with the indoors. The food is good enough. They also serve Rice Beer and Wine although the wine is not listed on the menu for obvious reasons
