Dimapur Airport (IATA: DMU, ICAO: VEMR) is a domestic airport serving Chumoukedima-Dimapur and its neighbouring areas. It is located between the districts of Chumoukedima and Dimapur, from where National Highway 29 (formerly NH-39) passes just beside the airport. It is the only airport in the state of Nagaland. The terminal building can handle 500 departing and 300 arriving passengers, and was built during World War II. There are plans for expansion of the airport to meet international norms by acquiring land at Aoyimti Village. Dimapur Airport is situated at Dimapur in the state of Nagaland, India. It is the gateway and the only general airport existing in the North East Indian state of Nagaland. It is positioned at third mile that is NH 29 previously known as NH 39. It is the most important airport of the region providing flights connectivity to n numbers of destinations. Jet Airways, Indian Airlines and all other major carriers provide flights at regular intervals to reach different part of the country. It is a public Airport and is managed and administrated by the Airport Authority of India.

It is one and only airport in our state nagaland. .. It is not like other state city airport. ..its small n so beautiful n not hv so many facilities like others state I wish in future they give facilities on this airport. ... N only 1terminal ...but well maintain.

Airport is small,the toilets are clean there's also a good biryani place and they hive free wifi

I liked the airport, it is cute small airport and you cannot get lost as compared to big airports nowadays. The bathroom was clean but water was on floor. There are only 2 belts for luggage and outside of airport annoying taxi drivers but its their job. Overall good small airport in Nagaland.

Dimapur is a small & clean Airport in Nagaland. Only AirIndia & Indigo flights are currently operating from Kolkata... After 3 PM no flights. Runway single... staffs are friendly... Dimapur is connected with other parts of Assam & Nagaland... From airport to left side road goes to Kohima, & right side is Assam.. Golaghat... Jorhat.. etc... Jorhat flight ticket is costlier than Dimapur... Only thing... after arrival burgen with local Auto/ Taxi upto Dimapur Bus stand or hotel... Try to avoid Non-Veg food... Pork/ Dog/Other Animal could be the reason...

Average airport for a city of this size. The place looked clean though. As soon as you get off the plane, there is a 30 sec bus ride and you're in the luggage area. Two belts. But surprisingly, they do not encourage trolleys it seems. All the trolleys were locked and tied so that no one can take them. Check my photo ot the trolleys,tied with a rope. The place outside is also cramped and further encroached by cars/taxis parked on both sides.
