For Art and Artisians ,For national cusine and flea market vibe !!! Run by state government this is a fluid marketplace empowering and giving opportunity to local national artisans to display and sell their merchandise Sometimes you get really amazing art artefacts and more , the thing is the place has a exhibition style model so the merchandise and artisioans keep changing Also there are really good food stalls from all states in India to try their local delicacy It's a fun fkea market vibe , Public restrooms are available and so is paid parking There is a entry fee for locals and foreigners
The place has become synonymous to negotiation stores. Once the face of Delhi to shop for local artisans work from different states, the place with high rentals does not give the right picture for artisans to come and showacase their art and expertise. Wish the Government took cognizanze of this made sure that real work of the artisans is showcases easily in the heart of Delhi which attracts huhe number of tourists
This is an excellent shopping destination with a wide range of both traditional and modern clothing, all of which are of exceptional quality and handcrafted. Additionally, the location offers a diverse selection of delicious food with delightful flavors. I've personally experienced the excellence of Maharashtrian, North Eastern, Punjabi, and millet-based meals--all of them were truly exceptional.
I find it difficult to find regional products at Dilli haat now, the food stalls have grown, yet we need to see some more regional product stalls. There are only earrings paintings and sarees. I visited Dilli haat to find some exquisite regional products from all over India however for the last few times I have visited, I haven't found any. I feel it's going under some kind of renovation.
Best place for the persons craving for the dishes of different states. But the price of the dishes is very high. Even though if you want to enjoy the dishes of your state or of any kind you can come here. Craft Bazar is also here. Mithila Painting can also be bought from this place. Wooden handcrafted stuffs are also sold here!!
Run by Delhi Tourism and with a paid entrance, this is a nice hang-out place. There are food and crafts pavilions from all states, so you get a feel of the rich Indian culture and tradition at one place. You can get to try food from all parts of India. The food may not be as good as you would get them locally in the individual states but it gives you a fair idea of what each state food tastes like. Some states also present their folk music and dance at various times. I have been there multiple times and have always loved the feel and the ambience.
Amazing aray of hand crafted merchandise. I got 2 kurta. Great purchase.
Great place in INA near AIIMS. Can shop for items from stalls from all over India. Can also eat different varieties of food across India.
