Diggi Palace - A Luxury Heritage Hotel - Hotel in Jaipur - Jaipur, India

Such a pretty place. This is an old palace that's been turned into a hotel, so don't expect the luxury of modern day hotels. It has a quaint charm to it and plenty of quirks - windows in the bathroom that open to the room, for instance. That's probably because the bathroom used to be something else back in the day, but it's all been creatively transformed and we had no complaints. Loved the colour scheme and decor. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is good and surprisingly inexpensive. The peacocks in the lawn are a bonus. The pool doesn't seem to be operational. Overall, we dug Diggi plenty :)

The hotel is nice and quite with big garden. Clean but bit run down. I had the premium room which is very roomy. The bathroom is also huge and clean. Breakfast was good. But almost the same all 4 days. This hotel is not suitable for travellers like me who wants to explore Jaipur by your own. Uber and taxi are not allowed to come in to the hotel gate. You have to walk to the main street which is about 100m away. Not good if you have luggage. The hotel receptionist was not willing to call normal taxi for me, only offer their own airport service which is too expensive 1600 vs 400. The tuk tuk drivers outside the gate were rather aggressive and totally overpriced. It is prohibited to have other guest visiting you after 22.00. My friend was asked to leave the property by a rude guard. Unbelievable. For a room over 150 eur/ night it was not worth it.

Best option on a budget in the center of Jaipur. Rooms a bit dark and outdated, but it's clean enough. More of a rustic historical experience than luxury. Grounds are nice for kids to run around. We weren't here more than a quick overnight so not much to say about service or food.

Diggi Palace was the highlight of our trip to Jaipur and, in my opinion, is the only place to stay. The Diggi family have done an incredible job at maintaining and showcasing this incredible heritage palace and grounds. It is a tranquil place with a grand feeling balanced with a soulful and and homely atmosphere. The general manager, Wilson, was a pleasure to interact with. He was professional, personable and helped us with anything we needed.

It provided the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the city. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, of great value, and enjoyable stay. With good rooms, good room service, a nice restaurant with good food, and a fantastic open area.

Diggi Palace is a dream accommodation for a vacation. The serene, scenic atmosphere, the sounds of the peacocks, spotting them walking around freely and elegantly puts you in a meditative trance. The rooms are elegantly decorated, carrying the air of royalty. Service is excellent. Breakfast is included and has a good selection of continental and indian dishes. If you're looking for a haven within the city centre, this is the place to go to.

Great place to stay, within the city limits, good open space, Heritage property very hospital people. Enjoyed the good variety breakfast spread and overall food is good. Heritage rooms are compact and other room are big and spacious; safe premises hot water available throughout. it's memorable place
