Digamber Jain Bada Mandir - Jain temple in Hastinapur - Meerut, India

A very huge and famous temple around. The main temple is surrounded by a garden and is situated near Jumbudweep and a dharmashala. It has two ways to go on top, one is by stairs and one is by lift. It has a lift and a glass walk outside lift which makes it even better and a little bit scary. The timings for the lift are 9 to 5:30 and have a charge for 10/- per person. There are a lot of food options to try like chole kulche, aloo tikki, shikanji and kulfis outside the temple. If you want to have lunch/dinner, you have a variety of restaurants to choose from.

For Jains this temple holds a very deep value due to its historical legacy and the miraculous experiences people have had. We were able to see the morning prayers and typical Jain tradition of worshiping the tirthankara by bathing them holy water with lots of prayers, chants and many commoners joining the worshiping after having purified themselves for the same. It is a wonderful experience no doubt and somehow a spiritual energy around it to make you feel light and happy. Do try to visit Hastinapur if you want to see some good old temples as well as some beautifully designed jain temples

This place contains over 1k+ statues and statues that are over 20m tall of lord buddha

Have been going here since my childhood and I still love this place. Peaceful, maintained and has temples, kids rides, boating, great views, gardens and complete family outing. You can go for a tractor ride (a dummy elephant on it). Also there is a lotus temple here (jain temple) which is really unique. A long tower is the highlight surrounded by a small man made pool. Special request - It's a religious place so please maintain the dignity of this place.

Amazing and peaceful place Named " Pandwas Nagri " . This Historical Place is located on the banks of river Ganga in Meerut . This was the capital of the Kuru Kingdom in ancient times, whose rulers were known as the Kauravas.The great war of Mahabharata happened for the much-coveted throne of Hastinapur. After the war was over, the Pandavas emerged victoriously and were considered the rightful heirs of the throne. The Pandavas then ruled Hastinapur for more than 35 years. Richest architecture style of jain temples spread over large area . Near by there is Pandwas Cave and water well is preserved by archaeologist .

Well maintained Jain temple. Visit it early in morning for a blissful experience. Holy spiritual place.

Experience are not good because single boy or girl not allowed in temple, only family allowed

Jambudeep jain temple is in hastinapur.Big area ,big tamples,big parks,neat and clean,for picnic purpose and for fun better to go there but aware from monkeys.
