Disappointing Experience at dibba roti I recently visited dibba roti and ordered the vegetable thali. Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. The quality of the food was below par, with several issues. The rice had tiny stones in it, which was quite off-putting. Moreover, the overall taste and presentation of the thali did not meet my expectations. I found none of the items worth the money spent. The lack of flavor and attention to detail left me dissatisfied with the meal. I hope the restaurant can address these concerns to improve the dining experience for future customers.
Today, my dining experience at this restaurant left a lot to be desired. My husband and I came in for lunch, hoping for a pleasant meal. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse right from the start. We ordered a simple soup, and when the server inquired if we'd like a half portion, we agreed. However, the situation took an uncomfortable turn when the owner, who was present nearby, started berating the server right in front of us. He criticized her for giving us a half portion and argued about the size of the bowls. This public scolding was not only unprofessional but also deeply uncomfortable for us as customers. It made us feel like an inconvenience, and it was embarrassing to witness such an exchange. We were simply trying to enjoy a meal. The incident made us question the overall management and professionalism of this establishment. A negative experience like this can overshadow the food and atmosphere. It's disappointing that our visit was marred by such an incident. We hope that the management can address these issues and improve the dining experience for future customers. We may consider returning in the future, but for now, we are left with a bitter taste in our mouths - and not from the soup. I sincerely hope that the restaurant takes steps to ensure such situations do not occur in the future. Good service and a pleasant dining atmosphere should be the top priority for any establishment.
No Colors Pure Everything, I recommend everyone must try thalis once, they have alot of options in thalis and alot of dishes as well. You will get the mouth watering taste.
DON'T GO HERE. Terrible service, terrible staff. Had to wait for 20 mins for a table. Ordered before they cleaned the table. Waited for 45 mins for the food, got half of one order. No menus, had to take them from other tables. Cleaning of tables = rubbing the crumbs and spills all over the table with a dry napkin. Unless requested. Even the oil and leftovers on the sofas, we cleaned on our own. No coffee was served, other half of food was not served. After 45 mins, 4 of us shared one plate of food and paid the bill and left. The food was decent. The dosa was very cold and we ended up leaving it without even taking a bite. There were barely any wait staff to handle the Sunday traffic - which is surprising I personally went and grabbed the spoons and stood by the kitchen for extra sambar. Even if the food was extraordinary, I wouldn't ever come back. Other customers saw our demise and left without ordering anything. The service was atrocious. And I wouldn't ever recommend it to anyone, and only giving 1 star because the Pongal was decent. Otherwise 0 stars for service.
Dibbarotti, is a place where some unique cuisine is served. I had the normal Poori masala. It was instantly made, hence hot and tasty. The aloo curry was not so great and far below expectations. The issue in the kurma was, the gravy was thickened with cornflour. Best the chef could have avoided that. Then I ordered Upma Pesarattu. It was great. The upma was just as I had wanted. The pesarattu was thin and crispy. The sambar served with it was awesome. Never had that kind of thick sambar, anywhere in Hyderabad. A nice place to have some variety food, once a while. Need to try the nonveg combination breakfast as soon as possible. It's a place where you can relax and there is not much rush at this place. Looking forward to various visits to Dibbarotti, in future.
Good taste but felt little high price
I felt the place is good. Small but will get good and satisfactory food experience there. Both types of options like vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian are available in dosa. I feel happy about this place. Surely visit and let me know how do you feel about this place. Thanks
Today, I have visited this place for lunch. Even after looking at the -ve reviews, we thought of giving it a try. By far, this is one of the worst places I have visited. Food was not up to the standards. I strongly believe, the food served was not freshly cooked and chicken was stale. I have ordered a starter, chicken 65 biryani and a non-veg thali. Starter 3/5 Chicken 65 biryani 1/5 Non-veg thali 0/5(fish fry was worst, prawns curry was bad, chicken curry was okay).
