Dhobia Talab - Pond in Hazaribagh - Hazaribagh, India

The place is not suitable for a visit. Since 1year municipal corporation has tried to clean the pond , as they complete some plants again grow and cover the whole pond . Just waste of money at their side buying big machineries . There is no place to sit or something . It came in news recently that a sum of 3.5 crores were to be spent to beautify this pond of which few plants have been planted worth nothing i guess.

Polluted place by local habitants... but some stairs are still cleaned as worship is practiced over there and also fisheries

Dhobia talab is landmark. Near area is good for residency and peace for study.

There is a lot of dirt, all the garbage of the local houses comes in this pond and all the drain water. But by keeping this pond clean, it can be made beautiful so that people can come here and sit for a while and experience the fresh air.

Just a big pond , in rainy season it overflow to the way were i lived(Lodge) two years ago. Also some fisherman keep their fishes in this , with net. I don't know swimming so no swimming experience.

It was too dirty to see. You can't take a bath like a dirty pond.

If you are in hazaribag near january, rent a house for a day near this Talab, and see some of the beutiful birds in the sky but remember not to have a snack in your hand, probably the eagle's get attracted.

Now, it is not better in situation, but it is helpful for fishing.
