A good place in Dhenkanal for breakfast and evening snacks , I tried prasidha bara (4/5) that was good , Singada (3.5/5) , veg chop (2.5/5) average and rasagola (4/5) and sambar was also good You can try there , service was great and atmosphere was good and most important pocket friendly

Went to try bara in Dhenkanal famous Prasidha Bara shop. Ambiance is good. Table is clean. Lots of employees to take care of customers. Very quick service. They have variety of sweets as well. If you are in Dhenkanal then this is a must try shop. Recommend

It's a neat and clean place.Quality of packaging is great.you can eat bara,upma,idli,puri,dosa. It is famous for " BARA" food item- there is no such quality maintianed in anywher in INDIA. Most of the people like to have DNKL BARA..Other Aspect is religious place of origin of "Mahima Dharma" at Joranda located at Dnkl 17 Km off. The city is calm and Quiet no criminal activity people leave in Peace and satisfied. So many other ways we can't compare the fame of Dnkl..it is always famous and ever.. Dhenkanal is a district in Central-Eastern Odisha with an area of 4,452 km2. Previously it was known as Dhenkanal State (Princely State of British India) Dhenkanal State .Also known as "Gadajata". It connects western Odisha with Eastern Odisha..Hence beyond the discrimination of both :).... Dhenkanal is famous for the following... 1) People are very simple hearted and hate to cheat others. 2)Dhenkanal Bara (Bada in Hindi) is well known as Prakhyat Bara. Denkanal 'Khua Peda' is also very tasty. The people staying in Dhenkanal Town never like to shift the place because of its clean and soothing cold air (as it is sorrounded by small mountains ) Gaja Lakshmi Puja in Dhenkanal is also very famous . Baji Rout (Pride of Dhenkanal)is the youngest martyr of India. This 12 yr old boat boy was shot dead by British police when he courageously denied to ferry them across the Brahmani River on the night of 11 October 1938 at Nila kanthapur Ghat, Bhuban, Dhenkanal district.

Of course you will never be disappointed..as the test of authenticity Dhenkanal Bara is still available in this place.. similarly sweet items are not far behind..a nice place to dine with family..only car parking is the issue..have to manage nearby beside the connecting main road..

It needs no introduction if you are in Dhenkanal. Located in the centre of the city. Very busy place as its always crowded with food lovers. Like its name its very famous.

Had morning breakfast food is good. Plenty of options available I tried Idly which was super soft, bara which was good but not the best. They also serve Dosa, upma,puri, aloo chop, veg chop. Options with sweets are also available in varieties. I had jalebi which was average in taste & raskadam which was good. Overall a nice experience & economical pocket friendly place.
