Dharmanagar - Train station in Dharmanagar - North Tripura, India

A decent rail station situated at the northern part of Tripura state.This station literally saw all the railway developments happened in Tripura and gradually evolved through periods of time.It's the first railway station to be ever built in Tripura.Everytime I visit here,I saw crowds and somehow congestion matters being here waiting for the train and buying things from vendors nearby and resting places are also neat so in my opinion this is a great station in comparison to others in this hilly state.

A quaint little station on the way to/ from Agartala. Also an entry point to the nearby attraction of Unakoti. Facilities here are very inexpensive and neat. Kudos to the administration and local railway officials. Its the first major station into state of Tripura, coming in from Guwahati. All trains to Agartala halt here, hence plan to visit Unakoti by breaking journey here. The murals on the station and the cleanliness, attitude of vendors etc makes this station one of the best visited.

Main city of North Tripura. And the entrance of Tripura basically because it is close to assam state border. Excellent place for staying. I was there for 3 years. If you're visiting from outside of the state or country then there is some best hotel at your service like raat-din, unakoti, ponchoboti etc. And the famous place of dharmanagar is kalibari which is the heart of the city. Must visit once if you're staying in dharmanagar. Thank you.

Nothing special architecture not so beautiful but very important station for the people of North Tripura, I personally recommend those who are first time traveler they may be reach atlist Ambassa railway station if possible please reach to Agartala for better hotel as well as better connectivity to other places. Their was not a single hotel those who are reliable because once I booking a hotel room for a night but when l reach to the hotel they don't allow me to check-in they told me that my online booking was cancelled, hence I request all the travelers those who are first time reach in Dharmanagar please avoid accommodation their stay at Agartala if possible.

Most beautiful railway station in Unakoti district.But we should maintain cleanliness.

Comparatively smaller station for a 2nd largest city of a state. We will get trains to Agartala or Silchar. Auto/e-ricks are easily available during daytime.
