The way to this establishment is very narrow. We had booked for a 11 member birthday party for my mom. The boat they provided looked ill maintained but pretty much okish. The staff were very helpful and courteous and stopped where ever we asked to collect some plants and take photos. The lunch was good and homely too.
It was a great experience. Good food ans superb ambience. If going there, take the entire house which has 4 AC rooms. And the entire house in a compound and safe
Visited this place in Feb 2020. 45 min approximately drive from kochi(Ernakulam railway stn).its on bank of backwaters which connects to kumarkom,allepy ,kochi route. Property is small but beautiful 3 AC rooms which are very well maintained clean, spacious bathrooms,hot water available. Thy have their own house boat morning 11am check in keep your luggage n go in house boat .which have one bed room Main sitting area outside with chairs n side single sitting long beds.staff on boat very friendly.who tries to speak in someenglish some what hindi.and very good malayalam. But you will understand what he want to say. 5 to 6 PPL or even more can go at a time in boat .you will be taken to vembanad lake , small canals, all around viakom. Afternoon home made tastiest lunch with spicy fish cooked in banana leaf n fish curry chicken Shell fish fry rice sambar n.chutney . You will love it. Because thy will halt the boat on a Island isolated from houses in mid of backwaters. You can walk on island do fishing . If you are lucky can get freshly plucked coconut water. By 4pm thy will bring back to rooms You can spend time by doing fishing Walking to nearby temple. It's a kerala type house which look really beautiful.very calm with ,nature sounds. Evening snacks with hot tea will be served. Night dinner better to tell in advance what you wish to eat Which will be prepared again at home n provided at your time. Next Morning breakfast as per your wish but kerala cuisine. I will say my family hadn me wonderful stay.
It has been a unique experience of boating. In the widest junction area of Vembanad lake, a confluence of three distinct routes of waterways of Kochi, Alleppey and Kottayam there is a shallow area just 2 feet depth small area is amazing experience. The best back water tour I ever had.
The houseboat could have been more clean and tidy. Otherwise it was a great trip... The person who was riding the boat helped us to reach back on time... Fdfff
Excellent place for outing .....Families and bachlers can enjoy a full day or day and night in this small resort. small house boat daycruies is also included in this pakage... .. we can also swim inside the lake ..bcz some areas are not so deep so children also can swim, lot of rivershells we can take from there and prepare it in the resort aswell. Fish farm owned by resort fishing and cooking facility available....In all way a variety experience u wil be getting. SuperrbBb.......
