Dhanya Remya Theatre (Muthoottu Mini Theatres) - Movie theater in Changanassery - Kottayam, India

I'd recommend you choose some other place than this. The premises stay closed until it's time for the movie. We arrived half an hour early and was stuck at the gate, without security. We eventually decided to get some juice from nearby stall until it's time. That was very inconvenient. Show started 30 minutes late, and we had to stand in line to get our online tickets changed into physical ones. That was dumb and somewhat inconvenient. Movie was alright, sound was ok, except for the booming sound you could hear coming from the other theatre downstairs, which killed the entire vibe of the movie (we were watching, 'The Nun 2', and there was a lot of booming noise coming from the other theatre, which felt off). Seating was okayish, but there was a notable lack in hygiene. The seats have seen better days. Overall, bad. Snack stall was pathetic. I'd rather go hungry than spend money on that questionable popcorn. As for chips, they got some off brand lays or something, I really don't know what that was, and I don't recommend it anyway. As for A/C, I looked like I had taken a shower, while waiting in line for tickets downstairs. The theatre had somewhat good A/C so ig that's why i gave it a two star rating. Price we paid was 130(ticket price)+30(convenience fee). Average price for subpar theatre. Anyway, just save your money or go for some better screens, this one just isn't good enough.

Good movie experience from the last two rows for those who like to watch movies at your eye level. For the front rows the screen appears to be above the eye level. The sound arrangement is beautiful. Good place to enjoy movies, especially in which the music plays a key role

Votes are for Dhanya and its amazing sound and picture quality! The Auro 11.1 is top class. It would be great if the bathroom facilities are better and the canteen has more options. Please do rennovate and make this in to a good multiplex. Please do change the seats. Remya is a small theatre.

It was one of the worst experiences. I have never been to such a theatre like this. The air condition was not as powerful. I felt the sound was better than other amenities. Go to other theatres in town.

Very average Teather experience. Even if you took online tickets you have to take ticket slips from the counter. The screen is 2k and is good. The sound is ok. The main merit is that the beverages and refreshments are a lot cheaper and is not a rip off when compared to other competitors in the area.

Theatre is good. The seats weren't great. It has a parking facility. The screen was good. Audio is good. It could improve if they can prevent the rattling of the structure (both inside and outside), mostly from the roofing sheets.

The main problem of this theatre is ,if we book tickets from online ,again we show that mobile ticket to their counter and they will provide another paper tickets to show their executive to enter into the theatre..it is very bad. Because we book tickets online for the easy entry to theatre.. so owner or theatre manager anyone who is responsible please take this review as very serious and do the needful.thank you

Good Theatre with Triangular shaped seating arrangement and best Sound quality ,but theatre infrastructure feel little old. A speciality is even in first row we feel same viewing angle, not want to look up or streach . Good design better feal
