Dhanagiri Home Stay - Home Stay in Wayanad, Anoth - Wayanad, India

We had the most incredible time at this beautiful homestay. The staff were so friendly and took great care to ensure we had the best time. They helped us with our planning prior to arriving and during our stay. The cottage was in a quiet location and had beautiful views of the surroundings. Everything was super clean, there was a comfortable bed and excellent wifi. We had breakfast and evening meals there which we highly recommend as the food is so delicious! They organised a tuk tuk driver to take us out to the places we wanted to see and he was equally fantastic and helpful. We had the best time, definitely book Dhanagiri Homestay, you won't regret it.

This was our second visit to the homestay. The main reason for this was the hospitality we received from the host Anand. Our stay this time too was memorable with a tremendous hospitality received by the staff and the caretaker Adarsh, the home food prepared by Sudha aunty was amazing and we preferred to have our meals at the stay and no where else. And did I forget to mention, the view from the cottages is amazing. Loved it.

Great view from room.. special mention to their home made food it was delicious and they made sure to serve the best in quality, quantity and variety... Good hospitality Only drawback is there is no room service available...since it's a farm stay you need to walk a little to reach their dinning area...

Nice cottages tucked into a private coffee estate with loads of peace and calmness . Expect homely food. Caretake and the owner are extremely good and help you. You can walk around the estate and explore nature or sit back and relax the view of mountains from the balcony.

We stayed 11 members family and friends. We booked a family villa here. Very nice property, friendly staff, great food experience and hygiene maintained everywhere right from the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Any member who I interacted from staff were welcoming and supportive. Special thanks to cook aunty for the delicious Kerala food experience. Appreciate Mr Anand for hosting and providing us our best experience of Wayanad stay.

We were travelling with family friends and owner mr. Anand suggested the 3BHk Bungalow which was One of the best home stays we have ever been to...4 days and 3 nights stay was super comfortable amidst the nature and coffee plantations!! The homely food and services were just amazing! Highly recommend this home stay to everyone who plan their travel to Waynad! Thanks!

We stayed here with Family for 2 night in 2 BHK homestay. Had an awesome experience while staying at Dhanagiri homestay. You would never feel like to go anywhere else to stay after you stay here. 1. First thing is hospitality and service by Caretaker Eldhos was excellent, he is very friendly and you feel like you are being at home. 2. Food (Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast) was really tasty and delicious, cooking aunty made the food with Kerala style and authentic. 3. Rooms and bathrooms are neat and clean and spacious. We really had a pleasant stay. 4. We had a early morning walk at Coffee estate surrounded which was good experience with nice mountain view.

This is managed property. there is no owner to host you. so we are disappointed as no talk with local culture and no warmth that u get from hosts. food is well prepared all the time and good in taste. chicken biryani prepared is ok. the vegeterian dishes and breakfast is all good. to sum up compared to 400 rs charged per plate for lunch and dinner, there was limited spread and limited quantity. one weird thing is desserts, eggs, bananas are limited in quantity for all meals/bf. service is good during meals. They prepared custom meal for my kid as per the request. Once we waited 30 minutes for a dinner. though they insist coming on time. we have to carry water to room 2 times ourselves. rooms are neat and clean. bathrooms are clean and decent. there is smart tv in the room with good wifi. has balkany and hill side view. but there steep walk of 200-300 meters to reach to the rooms. it is not kids or sinior citizen friendly. they should provide railings. also height is uneven for steps in between. the last 10 meter walk towards room is not even paved. bricks are put up every feet and you have to jump on it. grass is taller around and u cant guess ur steps. it could be better. my mother almost fell once. there is not enough light there as well. also there is a high tension wire going across near the rooms and lunch sitout. so there is constant crackling noise due to the discharge if you are at sitout or outside in balkany of ur rooms. there are no umbrellas to reach to your room from sitout area.
