POV: This hotel, food, hospitality never disappoint you. I'm from West Bengal, I stayed there. From hotel to hotel owner, everything is jst amazing in one word. Never met such a good hearted hotel owner before. I'm not gonna tell you everything, you go there, celebrate the place, come back & thanks me.

Dhall's Hill View Hotel located in Gwalthai was recommended to us for our trip to Bhakra by one of our local contacts. The hotel is well-located in the hills and one gets a nice view of the hills from the hotel rooms as well, so it is appropriately named. The property is not very big, but going by local standards it is quite well made and appealing. Upon entering the gates there is a courtyard area where cars can be parked comfortably. The ground floor area houses the reception, a restaurant , a bar-cum-dining room, and the owner's office. The kitchen is located behind the dining area. At the back of the building is an open terrace area where they set up tables for evening dining. The terrace offers an excellent view of the hills and in the distance, you can see the water of the Gobind Sagar area of the dam. The owner, Mr Dhall, is quite a helpful and pleasant gentleman. We had stopped at the hotel en-route to Bhakra and he gave us good advice on the places to visit nearby. In the evening, we had snacks at the terrace area, and we found that the place seemed to be popular with locals as well, who were visiting for dinner. By the time we had finished, the place had quite a crowd. We had Chilly Chicken and Paneer Tikkas there, which were quite good. Overall, it is a decent place to stay in the area. The rooms are quite huge and tastefully done. However, the service is a bit slow and the cleanliness of the rooms is not as good as it could be. Which is why I have given an overall rating of 3-stars. Mr Dhall explained that this is due to staffing issues, as it is difficult to come across trained manpower in the hills. If they could enhance on these two issues they have the potential of being the number one place in the vicinity.

Perfect for a vacation, place is very near to Bhakra dam, only hotel with almost all amenities.

Dhall Hotel Hill views is best of the location at hill side Golthai in the jurisdiction of Himachal near Nangal township. Presently there are ten rooms duly furnished that are available. It is also useful for small party Marriages purposes etc with good scenery at night also. So interested persons requested to visit once and enjoy the moments or event.

Only restaurant review. Clean and Hygienic place. Taste is good and food is freshly prepared. We had dal makhni, kadhai paneer and lassi. Everything was good and staff is warm n welcoming. They have parking space and a little lawn in front. A good place to enjoy snacks and north indian food when you are on your way to Bhakhra Dam.

Great location for vacation on weekends, near by to Nangal Dam, Anandpur shib and Naina devi..
