Excellent natural setting with seasonal fall of low height. Full of wild plants, sedimentary rocks. Plates, glass, lamps, incense stick stands made up of loose slate rocks are sold by local villagers. Best time to visit August to December.
Absolute delight...a gem of nature but since the path needs a half a kilometer of trekking aged persons should think twice before going
Really adventurous experience. To reach here people have to trek for 15-20 mins from the parking place. Nice experience.
Dhangikusum waterfalls is a must-visit if you are an adventure enthusiast and love exploring nature. This beautiful waterfall is located deep within the jungle, and you need to follow a small trail to reach there. However, it's not recommended for elderly people as the trail can be a little challenging. If you are looking to witness the real beauty of this waterfall, visit it during the rainy season. The waterfall looks stunning during this time of the year, with water cascading down the rocks and creating a picturesque landscape. We highly recommend not relying solely on Google Maps if you're visiting this place. Instead, seek the guidance of the locals or look out for the civic police near the road to avoid any inconvenience. All in all, visiting Dhangikusum waterfalls is a small adventure that's worth experiencing. Don't forget to pack your camera and capture the unforgettable moments of your visit.
This waterfall is a good 15-20 min trek from the parking place. Took me around 15 mins to reach the waterfall. Sadly there was very less water due to scanty rainfall in the region. There was a group of two boys who were enjoying the waterfall by having a bath under it. The best part of this waterfall was the short trek through dense forest with a rocky surface. For the old aged persons this walk may be a bit difficult however the kids and the young adults would enjoy trekking to this waterfall. This view point is in the Belpahari tourist circuit in the Dangikusum village. There was even a security service taking note of the visitors visiting the place.
Dhangikusum is nearly 55 km from Jhargram Town and situated barely 100 metres from the Jharkhand border. The smooth and well maintained road that passes through Burisole forest is another attraction that drives tourists to visit Jhargram. The road connects Dhangikusum via Silda and Belpahari till the road takes one to a hill top where the metal road ends. One needs to trek for around five minutes to reach the waterfall.
Small but beautiful waterfall in the middle of the forest.
The place is beautiful. But this place become more beautiful during rainy season. During winter, this falls become very dry. I will recommend not to go other than rainy season. Beside that, there are some problems. 1. There is neither any bathroom nor any restroom. 2. Even there is not any place where one can find his/her food to fulfill his hunger. Please highlight this point and try to improve this matter. Thank you
