Devi Niketan Heritage Hotel - A Wandertrails Stay - Hotel in Jaipur - Jaipur, India

We stayed at Devi Niketan Heritage Hotel for two nights. Admiral Madhavendra Singh was proactive during the entire process of booking as well as our reaching there. He made us feel at home. We'd a good time talking with him. The Hotel is a converted mansion. All around we could see photographs from the olden days as well as mementos from Admiral Singh's service years. The two gardens, in the front & the back of the building, were the happy running grounds for our dog. The highlight, of course, was the fluttering of almost a dozen national flags on the roof. Our rooms were comfortable; all basic amenities were provided for. The WiFi worked well too. The service was warm. Both the staff members were always attentive & ensured we'd a comfortable stay as well as tasty food. We recommend Devi Niketan Heritage.

Located at the heart of the city yet a quaint place built in 1935, redefining old world charm. The staff is very warm and friendly. Spacious area which includes lawns, parking space and a swimming pool. Very clean room and bathroom. Hotel, owned and run by Admiral Madhvendra Singh (Retd), a member of the royal family of Rajasthan, is a great host makes every guests really "at home". We had fantastic time during our stay...

Very well maintained rooms. Excellent location at the heart of the city. The interiors are packed with heritage and history. The garden is very well maintained as well as the pool. Nice breakfast . It was really nice to know our host. Recommended if u are visiting jaipur even for a day.

A 1934 heritage property beautifully converted into a cosy and comfortable Heritage hotel with the looks of a palace and feel factor of home. The property is spacious with two lawns, a swimming pool, and an exclusive parking. A very warm and friendly team to look after the guests, makes you feel like an extended part of the family. The property is owned by Admiral Madhvendra Singh (Retd), who is a perfect host and interacts with all the guests personally adding warmth to your overall experience. A highly recommended place to stay at Jaipur, which while being centrally located yet away from the noisy humdrum of the city, is a perfect getaway to relax and recuperate.

A very nice Heritage property within easy access to several sight seeing spots and local shopping areas. Also several multi cuisine restaurants within walking distance. The service is very attentive and friendly and the rooms spacious and bright.

A family heritage property of none other than a Retired Indian Navy Admiral, who is also a royal. You get a feel of living in a haveli cum museum, with display of proud Navy memorabilia, royal family lineage and Rajasthani art and decor. The guest facilities are just enough to make your stay comfortable. Unavailability of dinner and lunch without prior information can bother sometimes but thankfully there's a few eateries in a mall just outside the hotel. A decent place to stay which is very tranquil also inspite of being at a busy crossroad and inside city. So if you wish to have a comfortable stay at a heritage property, do visit Devi Niketan and enjoy privilege of shaking hands with a royal and a decorated Admiral. Not recommended if you are looking for luxury.

A cosy heritage home built in 1934 now converted into a bed and breakfast. No unnecessary frills but a comfortable place to stay in Jaipur. Strongly recommended.
