Around 250 years ago A maratha sardar Sadashiv Rao Bhau initiated the construction of this temple when they found a Statue of Devi Durga in the bank of nearby Pond. Most of the temple structures are re-built. Time to time renovation & up gradation of temple area and facilities made the temple beautiful. This temple is specially dedicated to goddess Durga besides you will see temple of other hindu deities (Lord Shiva, Vishnu, Hanuman). Inside temple area and surrounding atmosphere is quite peaceful with positive vibes. During Navratri / durga pooja thousands of devotees comes here for Darshan & Puja. There is sufficient place for parking of two wheelers & four wheelers. Out side of temple are is quite congested & crowded due to traffic. Approach to this temple from highway is also bit crowded most of the time.

The temple is built by Maratha Warriers during Battle of Panipat-III. The temple is very beautiful and also have a small lake adjacent to it.(It is filled during rainy season only). Small park is there for children to play. The temple premises is very clean and well maintained. It is said that the deity fulfills all your wishes. It is real a calm and simple place, I recommend to visit it once if you are in and around Panipat.
