Very good place to sit and have a light lunch or some Snacks. The food is tasty and served well. The seating is comfortable and ambience is good. The owner and staff are very polite and helpful. water cooler and other amenities are available and well maintained. I noticed some the bad reviews the place is getting, i see where they are coming from, and couldn't agree with most of them, and think most of them are ill founded. Quantity is reasonably good. Obviously a restaurant will not allow outside food and drinks. The owner is not rude, on the contrary he seemed more than friendly. I recommend this place, you will like it.

It's quite of much home made like taste in their food It's quite natural ambience with natural aura . Food quantity is much better. Good place where you can come with family. It has mostly Punjabi and gujarati food options and It opens till 3 PM. Staff is quite helpful. Main thing you here get Is High energy nutritional food rather than Overcheesy masala food . Chaas is stunning.

I had read lot of good reviews about this place and decided to visit on a weekend afternoon. Very disappointed to find out it is just another average Gujarati food place. They did not have half the items from menu available on Sunday afternoon. And hardly had 2-3 items for jain options. Place was quite but slightly unhygienic and the menu was much overpriced compared to the service and ambience being offered. Sadly we did not find anything worth trying so we head home to cook dal rice for the afternoon.

Excellent food, generous portions. Aloo parathas are the highlight. Have tried aloo amritsari and veg Jaipuri - both delicious. I make it a point to eat here everytime I visit Ahmedabad. Great, relaxed atmosphere. Owner is friendly and often has a chat with customers.

I love this place Very hygienic and delicious food. With fast delivery...price is little bit more now a days . My son is in Michigan Detroit USA and my daughter is in Chicago, Desperately want to visit India bcoz of Deversh...

You can do your own tifin with 20/- charge No cold drink allowed We have tried 1) chees aloo Paratha 2) boondi riata 3) Chees butter masala 4) sev tameta 4) Paratha 5) butter milk I also love to visit again. Something different ..visit must... Primary reasons for my liking : (1) You can see owner's passion into the business by the way he interacts with you. You can find him cooking also. (2) Heritage and green property. (3) No showoff just pure food. (4) Open kitchen, consequently clean and hygienic. What should you try??? Stuffed Paratha, which is their speciality as per the menu, infact it is their special thing!!!!!(one person can't finish one Paratha with side dishes). Punjabi Subji is awesome... I tried cheese butter masala which you should try when you are confused. You get more value than you pay. Must must try....

This place has a great history and has been a favorite of the office crowd around the area - not just because of the food but also because of the friendly and humble owner. Devarsh is the owner's son who has joined the business. My wife took me to this place to get to try their paranthas and experience the ambiance as she used to frequent this place. To begin with, this place isn't at all vegan-friendly - not in terms of quality. Their specialty is paranthas cooked in ghee (clarified butter), so that made it tough to get their authentic dishes with us being vegan. Majority of the items in their menu involved Paneer. When we asked the gentleman attending our table to make everything in oil for our order, he mentioned twice that it won't be fun without ghee. We went ahead with our order of an Aloo Pyaaz Garlic Paratha, Aloo Matar Sabzi, Tawa Roti with Roasted Papad. Aloo Pyaaz Parantha was good. The stuffing ratio is the highest I've seen till date. However, I tasted a lot of coriander and garam masala in the parantha - something which probably ghee would have shielded. Some lemon juice in the stuffing would have made the spices less intense in taste. Aloo Matar Sabzi was great. Tawa Roti was great - fresh, hot and soft. Papad was great. They served food in these environment-friendly plates which were great. The place is a house verandah turned into a restaurant. There's plenty of seating available with chairs-tables and additional seating space created by installing stone at the perimeter of the structure. You will often see the owner chatting with the guests, many of whom would most likely be regulars. Having said that, the problem can be finding the parking, especially for the cars, as there is a very small space available outside. Payment here is cash only, so your cards would be useless here. Overall, nothing much for vegans unless they deliberately decide to develop recipes for tasty oil-based paranthas. While sabzi-roti was great, I won't drive down all the way to the other side of the city for that.
