Good spot if you are a nature lover. Road goes all the way till the top. Can go for early morning sunrise view or even possible to camp overnight. I have not camped there ever, so please be very careful about wild animals as I am not knowledgeable enough for the area to comment on that. Can be a good random hangout place for friends as well. Please don't litter with plastic bags or bear bottles or play loud music though as evident by having a cursory look at almost all the such spots around Bangalore and generally throughout our country. Be responsible in enjoying the nature. Happy Outing!!
A very beautiful place to visit. It's nearly 80 km from Bangalore and it will take 1:30 hr to reach there. Bike riding is recommended because of the Greenery road view. On the top of the hill you can see all sunset and sunrise both. At the start of the hill they will charge 10/per bike tickets . Carry your own food, only sugar cane juice and coconut water will be available. On the besides hills there is a temple you can visit as well
DD Hills Trek offers an enjoyable and moderate adventure for nature enthusiasts and trekkers alike. Its scenic beauty, moderate trek, opportunities for wildlife spotting, and a chance to experience local culture make it a memorable excursion. Whether you're an experienced trekker looking for a relaxed trek or a beginner seeking a moderate adventure, DD Hills won't disappoint.
Awesome place. vehicle easily goes till hill top. There are 3...4 views points. Visit early morning. And don't forget to visit hill top Yoga Narasimhaswamy temple
90% Roads are amazing, And the last 15 kms after taking a deviation to the right from tumkur road is amazing with a lot of cornerings. Place is well maintained thankfully despite the crowd and please maintain in the future as well. Good to visit early in the morning especially in rainy and winter season as it is going to be filled with mist.
You can climb by steps or take vehicle till near were you need to climb minimum 250 steps to reach temple ( Lakshmi Narasimha and anjaneya Temples, Kalyani). Steps are not difficult to climb. Throughout place are well maintained. Takes 1.5 to 2 hours during weekdays. Must visit place. You can also visit Mandaragiri hills nearby if you are planning total a day visit.
It's a vary beautiful place to visit. You love the view from the top of hill. I suggest to go in a little cloudy day in morning time.
Such a beautiful place for your weekend. It took almost 2hrs from Bangalore City. I suggest, start by 3AM to reach DD hills view becz you can see the star trails and at the same time the sun starts raising (night view as well as day view). A small trick is, if you go early no parking fee
The road is beautiful also the view from the temple is mind blowing. Few food stalls are there. Also parking area available . Around 2:30hrs from Bangalore. Afternoon time or morning time is best to visit the temple.
An exquisite blend of sunset, captivating mountain scenery, and a warm cup of tea from Black Hill Coffee - a truly enchanting combination that offers an absolutely fantastic experience. An added bonus: easy accessibility to Black Hill Cafe by vehicle
Very pleasant and cool atmosphere near to a lil dry city Tumakur. On the way we get many view points which offers beautiful scenic views. We could see many jogging and walking. Temple opens at 10am, so we recommend to spend early morning time till 10
