The view is just so awesome, worth every step you climb up. Hope the fog and clouds aren't much that obstructs the view quite a bit. The sunrise or the sunset just makes you happy for the rest of the week.
It's a gorgeous spread of shola grasslands and if you happen to go during monsoons , you will be a witness to the clouds playing hide and seek with the hills..the road route is not recommended for family travellers unless you have a trained driver and it's better to return in the afternoon itself as the roads leading are not in good condition....
Great place for a family getaway as anyone of any age can visit this place. Not much to walk. Just a few steps from the parking and you will be welcomed with amazing views if it's not very foggy. The roads are pretty great to the location. A little narrow in some places but new roads in most of the parts. Check for the weather before you go as it won't be of any use if it's very foggy.
Beautiful place!!! Must must must visit! Especially during the monsoon season it is filled with fog and lovely place to sit and just connect with nature and enjoy. Plan it up with chikkamagaluru and betta baireshwara temple as well. Panoramic scenic view all around with greenery all around! Food stalls at the base of the hill. Another temple and the starting of the hill. No washrooms available
Awesome and beautiful place to visit with family and friends Located at a remote area in Mudigere, this hidden jewel have many things to offer including an ancient sacred temple dedicated to Kala Bhairaveswara, amazing views from nearby hillocks, refreshing breeze and cool climate. As this is located at a remote area, one should have own transport to reach. After parking the vehicle at the base, one has to move up the hill a simple climb. As we went during rainy season, we have to use rain gear and hiking shoes for good grip. The scintillating views of valley around is worth the experience. The priest at the temple gave us freshly prepared prasadam and shared the ancient stories associated with the temple. There is a small shop run by a family offering hot bajjis and tea. A stunning beauty for nature lovers and ideal place those in search of solitude.
Wow what a Heaven and Awesome place to get drenched in the Nature Adobe. We had the amazing view of the hills after little bit of trekking and this place is easy to trek even for kids too and you won't be getting tired at all. One can easily spend around 1 hour easily with plenty of photos and relaxation in the nature. Overall a excellent place which one should not miss if you are going towards this region
I have never seen anything like this before. My god. Mind blowing. This is out of the world. I have been to many foreign countries, nothing matches the views from here.
This has one of the best valley view.. don't visit when it's too raining like in July. Its too windy and you can't see anything.
