On deepavali times lakhs together people climb this mountain to take the blessings of the goddess deviramma.some of them climb with taking big wooden peices to fire at the top (for homa or yagna)its a get together gathering for most of them like truking kind of feeling.people come from accross Karnataka and from other states to here...here local people generally climb every year, it's like physical exercise to body once you climb and get back to your home you feel like you have to take rest for at least for 4-6hrs...but fun is not expressable..
It's one of the oldest temple in our area. ..and its having its own importance by the god shiva. ....
