Destiny - The Farm Resort - Resort hotel in Ooty - The Nilgiris, India

We visited this place for our wedding shoot. We took off road in their truck to reach. Nice location but worst hospitality can never forget. My family gave a surprise visit by taking their own vehicles off road informing the front desk. We had our lunch in their restaurant and spent some time. While leaving the manager or whoever the person started to ask my family to pay 2500/- per head for just entering the premises. We almost had a fight as it sounded very illegal and the manager was very rude to us. We were treated very badly. We have been to n number of resorts and hotels no one asked to pay for just entering the resort. If this is still followed by them. Then that is not right

Excellent location which can be reached after an extremely bumpy 15 minute ride in the resort vehicle. Rooms are spacious with great views but need some upkeep (? Post COVID effect). Food is overall tasty but repitetive at times. Activities are mainly outdoor provided weather is good. Otherwise you tend to get bored as the place is a little remote and accessibility to other tourist places is difficult. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Overall a good place to choose if you want to spend more time outdoors close to nature.

This place is so beautiful and so peaceful. The best place to holiday with your family. I was so skeptical to book this place seeing some reviews and also it's priced less with so much to offer. Thank god we went ahead and booked this gorgeous resort. We stayed in luxury villa which gives an amazing view and had a fire place too. The food felt normal till we spoke to Chef Kumar, he made sure we had the best food and experience there. There was nothing for us to complain about We did most of the activities offered by the resort Nature walk, feeding animals, though we choose not to do horse riding, cattle milking etc etc. Touching those horses felt so good All animals in the resort are looked after with so much love and affection. Destiny farm stay is in between the forest so if you are thinking of booking this place know that you are making a choice to go in the vehicle from parking to the resort and which is a lot of bumpy road. My heart aches to see some reviews saying that the owner is a money minded person, I feel the resort is charging way less than what they offer and because of this some don't appreciate the hard work that goes behind opening such a beautiful place for us. If you are going to Ooty to see Ooty city and other tourist attractions don't stay here as this place is not for tourists it's for holiday and relaxing. My gratitude to the owners and all the workers who are making this resort a beautiful place.

Absolutely worst management and completely rude front office staff. Please do not get fooled by the pretty photos. The staff will make sure to ruin your holiday. The only access to the resort is through their truck which takes around 25 mins one way. You will be left stranded by the management even if you have an emergency. The restaurant forgot to send the milk bottles for our baby back, once we left and reached the parking, they refused to send the truck back with the bottles as it was not the truck timing. They made my 2 year old daughter wait in the parking lot indefinitely because of their rigid truck timings. When they sent the bottles finally, it was sent without the bottle caps! The rooms are run down. The towels given in the room had paan stains. Worst service throughout any resort in India. Their license should be cancelled for just being incompetent. No senior management was present and no resort manager as well. The staff seemed to be having a gala time at the cost of their customers. Please do NOT visit this place if you want to have any peace of mind.

The place is awesome location if perfect wonderful views of hills and green landscape all around. So many activities to accommodate kids. The lady at the sheep farm and men at the wall climbing and zip ride were so kind and helpful. Room service also good. Spa section is the worst here.. so hesitant to take appointments not will to do any service they are literally sleeping when we went there for enquiry.. they don listen to the Managers either.. So rude and impolite don go for a spa here.

This vacation was a memorable one. The location was so serene and the staffs who served us whole two days were so pleasant. The zipline guy cared so much and executed every engagement with special care. The details shared to us on the call on previous day helped us to plan our winter clothes and travel. The food was not great but decent enough. The rooms and surrounding were kept clean. We had a beautiful family time. Defenitely in a while we will come back for another occasion. Special mention to the trekking coordinator...

Location is too good and worth visiting if one wants to escape from city hustle and bustle. Morning nature walk, horse ride, and other activities are very good. Restaurant served good food, but service was little slow due to crowd. Preferred to visit in off-season and avoid weekends.

Beautiful location and place to explore especially if you have a pet. The service was awesome and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Definitely worth a second visit. Place is slightly expensive and approach road isnt that great , but the place more than makes up for these 2 points. . They have farm animals and multiple walking trails that lead to spectacular views .Highly recommended!
